Since March 24, Earth has been in a close alignment with Mercury and Neptune, and lined up with the planets twice. The second alignment on April 2 was followed by the Moon's alignment with the same planets on the 3rd. The 5.3 earthquake near Los Angeles on April 5 is another sign of building pressure in North America. On August 14 a seismic increase started along the North Atlantic ridge, both North and South of the Azores. A magnitude 5.2 earthquake also occurred to the West off the coast of Canada. Activity is continuing into the 16th with two additional 4 pointers closer to the Azores and also a 4 pointer to the South on the Mid-Atlantic ridge. This is an interesting development because the Azores are the peaks on a plate along the Atlantic ridge that is higher than surrounding areas. This could be some kind of activation process leading to more land rising from the ocean.
