Decoupling From CCP: US and Allies Would Cut China's Growth
As U.S.-China relations become increasingly tense, the chances of a U.S.-China decoupling has drawn increasing attention. Some economists believe that if the United States joins hands with its allies in decoupling from the CCP, it will cause a huge blow to China’s economy, dropping its GDP growth to 1.6%. If so, all kinds of social problems that were once placated by the economic growth of China will become more pressing.
Bloomberg economists Tom Orlik and Bjorn Van Roye wrote on September 3 that such a decoupling would have a much larger impact on China than on the U.S. as China gains more from cross-border exchanges of ideas and innovation.

On Aug. 31, in an online seminar at the annual U.S.-India Strategic Partnership Forum, the Deputy Secretary of the U.S. State Department Stephen Biegun said the Indo-Pacific was lacking strong multilateral structures.
He said: “It is a reality that the Indo-Pacific region is actually lacking in strong multilateral structures. They don’t have anything of the fortitude of NATO or the European Union.”
“The strongest institutions in Asia oftentimes are not inclusive enough, and so … there is certainly an invitation there at some point to formalize a structure like this.”

Insiders of the industry indicated that the serious problem of the leak of facial recognition data in China lies in the fact that not only are the facial photos leaked, citizens’ sensitive information such as ID card numbers, bank card numbers, and cellphone numbers are also leaked. And the matching photo can be used to simulate a real person’s behavior like nodding, shaking, blinking, and talking. Individuals whose personal information was stolen are at risk for the rest of their lives because their names would be registered in most software for online money lending and fraudulent activities.

In Shulan City, located in China’s northeastern Jilin Province, a woman was recently found to have contracted the CCP virus on May 7 and subsequently a cluster spread was identified involving 16 people who had come into contact with her.
She works as a laundry woman in the Shulan Police Department, and her husband is a police officer. Consequently, the Police Department was completely shut down. Many employees in the police department and education department are currently under quarantine.
The Epoch Times was able to speak to three locals in Shulan.

As the CCP virus continues to rage the world, Canada is getting hit hard by the plague, with Quebec province being the worst region, accounting more than half of the country’s confirmed cases and deaths. The relationship between Canada and the CCP, especially Quebec officials and the consortium, has contributed to the situation. Joseph Jacques Jean Chrétien was a former Prime Minister of Canada, and during his ten years as the premier, he met with Jiang Zemin, the CCP former leader, 17 times.
In 2013, Justin Trudeau, the son of former Prime Minister of Canada, Pierre Trudeau, once said in his campaign: “There’s a level of admiration I actually have for China. Because their basic dictatorship is allowing them to actually turn their economy around on a dime.” Immediately after he took over the office, he engaged with the CCP regime and even considered signing an extradition treaty.
In 2014, former Premier of Quebec Province, Philippe Couillard, said that he had never mentioned issues of human rights in China, and only discussed investments and employment. In 2018, Couillard visited China and signed 40 agreements worth $262 million CAD.
From 2003 to 2012, former Premier of Quebec, Jean Charest, visited China several times. Currently, he is a consultant to Huawei advising in the extradition case of Meng Wanzhou and also fighting for Huawei to participate in the 5G network in Canada.
The CCP virus plague spread from Wuhan, China, to the entire world. More and more people have now seen the threats from the CCP. “If the CCP had not lied, this global spread of the CCP virus could have been avoided.” The Epoch Times also indicated that distancing from the CCP is the best remedy for avoiding the plague.

Han Kuo-yu is the first Taiwan mayor ever removed from office. Some netizens prepared a short film showing how Han dishonored his promises, as well as his various misstatements, and more importantly, his close relationship with the CCP.
Why did Kaohsiung citizens vote to oust Han in 2020? In November 2018, Han was elected as the mayor of Kaohsiung, the third largest city in Taiwan; but started a campaign for president less than five months later. He also made a lot of misstatements, making him a controversial figure. It was revealed in 2019 that Han was part of the Ph.D. program of Government and Management at Peking University in China from 2001 to 2009. Thus, he is basically an agent trained by the CCP. Although Han Kuo-Yu denies it, his relationship with the CCP has always been in question.
In a press conference with reporters on November 27, 2019.
A reporter asked: “Do you think the CCP has intervened in Taiwan's elections? Will you call on the CCP to not interfere with Taiwan's election?"
Han replied: “When I was listening to you, my right ear was ringing. Now I have to listen with my left ear, which media are you with? Report your media name first."
A reporter asked: “ Hong Kong people are marching through Hong Kong today, protesting the Hong Kong government's amendment to the Extradition Bill.”
Han replied: “I don't know, I don't know about that.”
On June 17th, 2019.
A reporter mentioned: "Millions of Hong Kong people protested on the streets yesterday.”
Han then responded: “ Oh, okay, thank you, thank you."
Han has avoided talking about the CCP and the Hong Kong people protesting the extradition bill. In March 2019, Han visited the CCP Liaison Office in Hong Kong without a public announcement, which triggered a national uproar. He still has not explained the purpose of his visit. The overwhelming public resentment and his vague relationship with the CCP set off a wave of movements to recall him.
Three times, Han filed appeals with the Taipei High Administrative Court to suspend the recall vote. Each was rejected.
Some netizens prepared a three-minute film showing how Han has not met his promises since he was elected, as well as various misstatements and misbehaviors he made, which almost explain why Kaohsiung people wanted Han removed from office. Two weeks ago, the DC council passed a new bill, allowing non-citizens, including illegal aliens, to vote in local elections. Not federal elections, mind you, but local elections. These are things like mayor, council member, attorney general, school board member, as well as any initiative, referendum, or recall election that happens to come up.
Now, this particular bill passed the council, but it still has to be signed by the mayor to go into effect. However, even if the current mayor of DC chooses to veto the bill—the district council has enough votes to override the veto.
Meaning, that barring any unforeseen circumstances, non-citizens (including illegal aliens) will be voting in our nation’s capital starting in 2024.
And Washington DC isn’t alone in doing this.
In fact, with the passage of this new law, it joined 15 other municipalities which allows non-citizens to vote — including 2 in Vermont, 11 in Maryland, New York City, as well as San Francisco.
However, what is really behind this push?
Well, you might remember that four years ago, just like today, this country was experiencing a massive wave of illegal immigration through the US Southern Border.
And it was at that time that President Trump was attempting to get a $5 billion appropriation to build the border wall which he promised while on the campaign trail. However, back then, Congressional Democrats blocked that $5 billion appropriation with everything they had.
And the big question was always: why?
Well, around that time, I watched an interview conducted by our southern border reporter with a man named Trevor Loudon, an expert on communist subversion. And during the interview, he explained what was in this opinion the deeper reasons for the Democrats attempt to block the building of the wall.
