The things we do for a good Explore. We drove over 2 miles on this flooded highway to get to our target, thankfully it never got deeper than the floorboards of my big old Dodge which once again proves it's the best $1100 I ever spent 3 years ago. We also got some great drone footage from Xcf Spark 2.0 and were happy to have that perspective back at our disposal.

I thought I lost the Explore of this old on the edge of collapse farmhouse but it turned up misplaced in the wrong file after missing for 9 months. This old farmhouse was another accidental road trip find and I really enjoyed seeing this old house since it obviously wont be there much longer. The front porch has totally collapsed, the roof has huge gaping holes in it, there are holes in the floors and ceiling, yet there were still signs of it's long ago better days remaining. The architecture itself was a great throwback to over a hundred years ago and some of the original paint and wallpaper remained to show fashions of the time. Due to the instability of the house there were many areas I could not get to but I'm glad I was able to preserve any of it.

A rusted steam locomotive is definitely not something we see everyday so finding this abandoned steam locomotive rusting away in the woods like this was one of the most awesome things we've seen but also one of the most sad considering how much we both love these old steam locomotives.
The sheer thickness and weight of the metal used making these old locos is truly amazing and being able to really look this one over only enhanced our appreciation for how they were constructed. From our examination it looks like there was a catastrophic failure of part of the boiler assembly and the locomotive was then parked here on this spur and not moved since.
What a real treat this Explore was, we hope you enjoy it as much as we did.
Stay curious.

Live Explore of an Abandoned Bar/Restaurant with LordExplores and Kaizer Glick. This closed bar and restaurant was huge and at one time had a dedicated wood cabin feel to it before being stripped and vandalized. The basement was full of water but the upstairs offices and apartments were very intact with tons of equipment and personal items, a very cool place to check out.

Welcome to part 1 of our Explore of Sandburg Mall in Galesburg, Illinois. This mall which opened in the 70s retains much of its great original look and feel but will be closing soon. When we were there only 2 tenants were left in the whole mall interior and only a handfull of people came in the whole time we were there which gave the whole place a surreal feel. Enjoy and watch foor part 2 when we go inside the closed stores and back hallways!

Opening in 1928 this sprawling school once had over 2600 students traversing it's corridors, climbing it's stairs, and going to it's once highly accredited classes and even had a large expansion done in the late 1950's to accommodate the growth of the student body. Unfortunately in the 1960's the economy hit a huge downturn and the student numbers began to shrink steadily until by the early 2000's it had shrunk to a mere 546 in the huge building and it's final graduating class only consisted of 72 students. Unfortunately in the 15 years since it closed the vandals have descended upon the school like angry vultures not content with picking the bones of what was left by stealing anything inside but by breaking, vandalizing, burning, and totally destroying this once amazing building.
Even in it's ruined state the building remains beautiful and it was amazing to walk through the halls ans rooms seeing the architecture and feeling all the decades of history still able to be seen and felt in it's walls.
Special thank you to @Urbexy for his help with this video and his editing skills in this first part and part 2 of this Explore, I really needed his expertise. Please comment here or on Urbexy's channel and let him and us know what you thought of his editing.
I apologize about the puff puff sound and coughing throughout the video, I was not feeling good during this Explore and had my oxygen concentrator on high and both can be noisy.
Thank you for Exploring with us, stay curious and Explore the world around you, you never know what you may find.

Hey Everyone!
While driving home from a day of filming I ran into this small old country graveyard surrounded on three sides by cornfields. Being a sucker for this type of graveyard we stopped for a little walk around look at some cool old gravestones.
Thank you so much for watching.
