In this video I share what is possibly the best advice I ever received from a senior during my undergraduate days.
The question is how to cope up with the extreme academic load together with extra academic activities that one faces during the short span of a semester.
This is an advice which I followed myself and which I have shared with many of my students here at IIT Kharagpur. And, my hope is that it will be beneficial to all other students too.
This video is part of a YouTube playlist where I give various general advice to students at different levels (Bachelor, Master, PhD):

Students often feel on top of the world after succeeding JEE. However, before joining college, they need to understand and remember certain crucial points. In this video, I discuss three such very important points:
1. At the very beginning, one cannot relax.
2. If students have not gotten their preferred Department, instead of feeling sad they should try to find out the best things about their Department - they will be pleasantly surprised.
3. If their rank has been high enough, they need to realize that a difference of a few marks would have completely changed the picture. And, they need to keep working. It is possible that lower-ranked students will start outperforming them in a couple of years.
