I reminisce over Super Mario Adventures, the comic by Kentaro Takekuma and Charlie Nozawa. This originally ran episodically in Nintendo Power in 1992, with a bonus "Mario vs. Wario" issue in January '93. I was five or six at the time, and I remember it fondly. Thankfully, it's been reprinted, and it's well worth picking up — it may just be the most personality the Mario characters have EVER had. Especially Princess Toadstool / Peach!
Just In Time Incorporated (developed by Second Wind Interactive) is all about saving people in slow-motion scenes, so I made a little slow-motion scene myself. But is this game worth the relatively steep price? I'm not sure myself...
