8:18 Learn more about inflammation!
Let’s talk about the top mineral deficiency in rotator cuff injuries and a lot of other joint injuries. Up to 94% of rotator cuff treatments don’t have a great success rate and require more treatment over time.
The majority of rotator cuff problems are related to the tendons, not the muscles. There are some natural things you can do to maximize the strength of your rotator cuff, but unfortunately, it will likely never be 100% again.
Two things you should never do for a rotator cuff injury are:
1. Apply cold to the injury
2. Rest the injured area
What to do for tendon rehab and rotator cuff repair:
• A hanging stretch (for arthritis with no tear or trauma)
• Isometric exercises
• Get plenty of vitamin D, vitamin C, and amino acids
• Keep moving on a regular basis
• Eccentric exercises
• Get plenty of manganese
The most important nutrient for your tendons and rotator cuff repair is manganese. A manganese deficiency can slow down the repair of your tendons. Manganese is essential for strengthening your tendons and ligaments.
The best source of manganese is shellfish. If you’re going to take a manganese supplement, consider taking about 200 mg for around a month and then try to get it from your diet.

13:06 Check out this video to learn more about your individual recovery time!
In this video, we’re going to talk about some of the hidden dangers of exercise. Exercise can be a positive or negative stress on the body. Positive stress means the body adapts and becomes stronger. Negative stress actually breaks down the body and causes numerous negative side effects.
Prolonged moderate to high-intensity exercise can have tremendous consequences for your health and body. Just one bout of intense exercise can suppress your immune system for days.
Negative effects of prolonged high-intensity exercise include:
• Immunosuppression
• Increased risk of viral infections
• Increased risk of heart attack and blood clots
• Increased risk of irregular heart rhythm
• Increased risk of injury
• Inflammation
• Oxidative stress
• Exercise-induced arterial endofibrosis
• Increased levels of cortisol
High-intensity exercise raises cortisol levels, which is detrimental to your immune system. Low-intensity exercise lowers cortisol and decreases your risk of a heart attack.
HIIT (high-intensity interval training) is an excellent way to do high-intensity exercise. You are only exercising at a high level of intensity for short durations, which greatly reduces the negative side effects.
It is incredibly important to focus on recovery time. Recovery is not a passive act. Your parasympathetic nervous system actively works to lower your pulse and aid your body in recovery.
Here are some of the best ways to avoid negative consequences when exercising:
• Avoid overtraining / Adjust workouts to your recovery time
• Ensure adequate vitamin D intake
• Consume omega-3 fatty acids
• Increase recovery time between exercises and between workout days
Exercise without proper rest can have serious consequences. When you focus on exercising the right way, you strengthen your immune system and reap lifelong health benefits.

0:00 Introduction: Sweat isn’t a bad thing
0:38 Sweat explained
3:45 Benefits of sweating
6:52 Check out my video on the benefits of exercise!
Let’s talk about why you should sweat more often.
The purpose of sweat is to control your body’s temperature. It’s a survival strategy that helps prevent things like heat stroke.
The average person consumes 3300 mg of sodium a day and 2600 mg of potassium every day. However, the average person actually needs 2300 mg of sodium and 4700 mg of potassium. Only 5% of the population actually gets 4700 mg of potassium a day.
However, the ratios are more important than the individual numbers. For example, if you’re not getting enough potassium, you need to make sure you don’t consume a lot of sodium. If you consume more sodium, you need to consume more potassium.
These ratios are especially important for the cardiovascular system. This is why I created my Electrolyte Powder product. It’s high in potassium and low in sodium to help correct this imbalance.
Sweating can help you:
1. Balance your potassium and sodium ratio and support a healthy cardiovascular system
2. Release certain toxins
3. Sleep better
4. Have more energy
5. Increase circulation and prevent overheating
6. Support your neurons by creating a hormetic effect
7. Support your adrenal glands

1:45 Natural remedies for stress
What type of food do you eat when you’re stressed? Is it something like candy, chocolate, or bread? Or, maybe you drink alcohol or take a pill? When you consume carbs, it affects your blood sugar levels. Your blood sugar will end up at a lower state about 30-40 minutes after eating the carbs. This will then increase your cortisol levels and cause you to feel more stressed.
Dopamine (a pleasure hormone) is actually increased with the anticipation of a reward like cookies or ice cream, but not when you’re consuming it. Dopamine doesn’t actually lower cortisol, and your cortisol will be increased after consuming carbs. Medication or alcohol may block stress for longer, but it will come back.
A few powerful things you can do for stress:
1. Take vitamin B1 or nutritional yeast (without synthetic vitamins)
2. Take magnesium
3. Drink lemon balm tea
4. Take L-theanine
5. Take an adaptogen like ashwagandha

In this video, I’m going to talk to you about ginseng benefits for men over 50. Many of you have heard about ginseng, but you’re not 100% about what it does.
Ginseng is a herbal root that has been used for over 2,000 years in Chinese medicine. It’s a super tonic that does a number of things to increase your vitality. It’s great for men over 50 and women going through menopause.
The majority of ginseng benefits come from one phytonutrient called ginsenoside PPD.
Research shows that ginseng can help improve:
1. Vitality
2. Memory
3. Energy
4. Insulin levels
5. Alertness
6. Calmness
7. Focus
8. Testosterone levels
Ginseng has anti-amyloid properties. Amyloid plaques are a major contributing factor in Alzheimer’s disease and other neurodegenerative disorders.
Ginseng also has shown to support heart function, help prevent heart arrhythmias, and improve hippocampus function.
