Time for us to tackle the second level of the game, Raisin Ruins. Unlike the Wii version, this version gives you access to new powers that can be a benefit to your journey. One of them is Sand which not only lets you throw sand at enemies but if charged, can grab an object and lob it at enemies. Useful. But the next powerup you get is even better in my opinion. Very dangerous. Fortunately I did better this time and was able to net the Power Bombs. Plus we also get the Grappling Beam. They'll help us. But even with that, there's a lot to do. There's a lot to do. First we return back to the castle of Zamoksva. Remember Baalzack? Well, guess what. We're finally going to take him down. The castle had been take over by him and we're going to bring the pain. Baalzack is a nasty sort and he was responsible for forcing Maya & Meena to leave. Funny enough if you bring Maya & Meena into the fight, then this would be an opportunity for revenge. Focus on buffing your party first with Kabuff. Afterwards go on the offensive. It packs some nasty fire and ice attacks and they hurt like hell. Take the time to heal your party if things get bad. If you pack the Sphere of Silence, use that to stop him in his tracks. Ultimately he falls. Meena and Maya avenge their dad so now the journey continues. We also meet with Hank Hoffman Jr who's planning to make his own town. We'll be dealing with that in the post game so let's press on. We head up north and after much crossing, we reach Canalot, the city of water. Turns out King Larfur is looking for someone to make him laugh. We try at first only to fail so we return back to Laissez Faire, find Tom Foolery and bring him to Canalot. Have him in his party so that way you can be able to complete the job. Do that and you'll get the Zenithian Helm. The Zenithian Helm is one of four items that can only be equipped by the Hero Solo. We return back to a few previous towns to not only get some goodies but also prep ourselves for what's yet to come. We also got our hands on the magma staff. That's needed in order for us to open the way to the next town. Once that's done, we can get it back and use it again. We arrive at Femiscyra Castle only for us to get caught in a crime we didn't commit. To prove our innocence, we got to prove our innocence.
