Charge Bluetti EB3A with a big solar panel: maximize solar charging with a DC-DC converter
I wanted to use an old solar panel to charge my Bluetti EB3A. Normally this is not possible since the Bluetti can only use 200W panels, but my panel is 300W. I was able to make this work with a DC-DC converter. Any DC-DC converter will work which is rated for at least the charging power of the power station and the input voltage range is within the open circuit voltage of the solar panel.

Annke indoor tiny camera is the newest in the smart home line-up from Annke. This is a more consumer series as opposed to the regular security cameras. Lot of features, but none of the complex and technical settings we used to with full fledged IP security cameras.

I received a Zigbee wall switch from Zemismart, and the reason I pick this because it has the unusual layout. I liked it very much from the picture I have seen on the listing, and keep it in my hand I like it even more. Very nice finish and it appears to be a good construction.
And of course works fine with Sonoff, Zigbee2MQTT and naturally in Tuya where it is designed for primarily. Also supports Apple HomeKit, Google Home and Alexa.

Seed Studio sent me this Grove Beginner Kit development board. This is an Arduino Uno compatible board with 10 pre-wires modules for a complete development board. You can just use it without any additional wiring, or you can break out the modules and wire the to the central processor board with easy connectors. And you can use a visual development environment very similar to Scratch which supports all the modules on this board.

I put some examples together how to control IKEA bulb from Node Red using the node-red-contrib-tradfri node. This shows some of the basics of controlling bulb, brightness, color and also some of the complicated cases like getting the Tradfri devices and control them dynamically.
