Kshitidhar' or 'Bhudhar' means, dwelling in the earth, earth supporting, mountain, etc. Bhudhar is an allusion to mount Meru, a sacred mountain. According to the ancient Indian cosmological representation, it was situated at the center of the universe and thus constituted the axis of the world. It was a dwelling, meeting, and resting place for the gods. The pole star, situated directly above this mountain, is the Sudrishti, the divinity 'who never moves.
Samaranganasutradhara identifies Kshitidhar as, 'Ananta'. Ananta (endless) or Shesha (Sesha, the serpent) is also known as Sheshanaga or Adishesha (the first Sesha). He is the Nagaraja or king of all the nagas and one of the primal beings of creation. Naga also means mountain or 'That which does not move'. 'Shesha' in Sanskrit texts, especially those relating to mathematical calculation, also implies the 'remainder' - that which remains when all else ceases to exist because when the world is destroyed at the end of the kalpa, Shesha remains as he is. It is said that when Adishesa uncoils, time moves forward and creation takes place and when he coils back, the universe ceases to exist.

अर्यमन्, pronounced as "Aaryaman"; nominative singular is aryama is one of the early Vedic Hindu deities. His name signifies "Life-Partner", "close friend", "Partner", "play-fellow" or "companion". He is the third son of Kashyapa and Aditi, the father and mother of the Adityas, and is depicted as the mid-morning sun disk. He is the deity of customs and rules over the customs that rule the various Vedic tribes and peoples.
Aryama is the lord of the ancestors and he himself is the eternal ancestor. Satisfying them during Shradh Paksha is considered the satisfaction of all the ancestors. They protect the lineage tradition and their happiness increases the total. They are also the masters of friendship and being pleased with them leads to the attainment of Sattvik friendship. Along with Mitra and Varuna in the Yagya, they receive the sacrifice from Swaha and accept the sacrifice of Swadha in the Shradh. By being Kashyap and Aditi's son, he receives a share of the sacrifice. In the Vastu section, due to inauspicious construction on their part, accidents increase.
In the Rigveda, Aaryaman is described as the protector of mares and Stallions, and the Milky Way (aryamṇáḥ pánthāḥ) is said to be his path. Aaryaman is commonly invoked together with Varuna-Mitra, Bhaga, Bṛhaspati, and other Adityas and Asuras. Aaryaman is one of the most powerful god. He once defeated God Shiva when Aaryaman felt insulted by God Shiva's action, but at last, Aaryaman accepted his defeat because he doesn't want to insult God Shiva. According to Griffith, the Rigveda also suggests that Aaryaman is a supreme deity alongside Mitra and Varuna. According to the Rig Veda, Indra, who is traditionally considered the most important deity in the Rig Veda, is asked to obtain boons and gifts from Aaryaman. Hindu marriage oaths are administered with an invocation to Aaryaman being the witness to the event. Aryaman also is the deity of the customs of hospitality.
