The original 1970 opening titles to The Adventures of Rupert Bear, which was one of the first shows for Rupert Bear being adapted to television based on the Daily Express comic was thought that all of the 156 episodes got lost or destroyed from the archives (75 episodes only existed in unrestored copies) until it was revealed in 2017 that Network Distributing finally recovers and restores all 156 episodes of the 1970s Rupert series in the archives.
This is the original version that has one Rupert added to the fourth side but when Network started to restore all 156 episodes, the fourth Rupert picture is edited out.
This clip where the titles taken from is from the episode ''Rupert and the Old Hat.''
The theme song, known as ''Rupert (the) Bear'' was sung by Jackie Lee.
With thanks to Ian Hughes.
