In this video I take a crack at assembling a very well made kit by Adeept! The kit is laser cut acrylic, includes 5 metal gear servos, a big honkin' bearing and a well-designed control board powered by 2x 18650 batteries - which aren't included.

Brian might be one of the spookiest guests to grace the podcast since he is one of those fancy word-weavers that makes machines do his bidding - that's right, a software developer! Brian and I chat about microcontrollers, specifically of the wifi-handling variety, motivation and the importance of getting projects (and code) out there for all to see! We also chat about how his world has become intermingled with another great YouTuber - Destin from Smarter Every Day. Make sure to check out Brian's channel and drop him a subscribe here:

Taking a look at these neat little motor driver modules, the HW-039, which uses two of the BTS7960B half bridge drivers. This module claims to be able to be provide a peak current of 43 amps, and although I don't have the means to test it at the moment - the beefy heatsink makes me hopeful.
