A Little GMGT Advice For Gold Trap Set Up
Almost ever set up with a Green Mountain Gold Trap will be different. There are allot Of different scenarios to take into effect with a fluid bed gold trap or sluice.
Water velocity is the biggest thing to take into effect. If you have a good current to work with that's Great! But if you don't, building a dam high enough to get the drop you will need is a must. You will need that drop to replace water velocity with gravity. Both work the same in the end results and yes, the gold traps are consistent in keeping the fine flour gold.
In this video, I didn't have ample current but yet, it kept the gold just the same.

For this location, I need to come up with a plan to run the 3' River Bed Hog Green Mountain Gold Trap. Now that the water has come down I can get a set up further out in the river. The trouble is, we are dealing with root balls. So classifying is a must to break that stuff down.
No matter what, it's going to take a bit of work but, this spot is loaded with flour gold to say the least.
