My name is Eden Koz. I was diagnosed (at least with 95% assuredness) with Stage 4 Lung Cancer which turned out to be (after a month) a rare, rare infection called nocardia beijingensis. The infection entered my lung through the breath and ended up creating 3 abscesses in my brain as well as the original one in my lung. I ended up having two craniotomies and almost died twice. This is one of the series of videos that I did for family, friends and business loves... capturing the challenges and beauty of this.
Youngest daughter, Piper (at time 12), filming. Funny that I still say "filming" as there is no film. IV only a couple more days! Soon to drive again... It has been almost a month since my last video. My face is still big yet overall look much better.

Hey, hey, hey... I am Eden Koz, founder/consciousness coach of Just Be®, LLC out of Akron, OH. Oh gosh, here I share my video which was recorded for friends/family/Just Be community for Facebook in the summer of 2016 upon being diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer.
This "cancer" turned out to be a rare, rare infectious disease called Nocardia beijingensis. The first case of Nocardia beijingensis in the US (as far as I know) was reported in 2014. This is potentially the first case again in the US where this infection has gone to the brain.
By the way, the biopsy of the mass in my lung which I speak of, didn't work... so surgery was the only option of which there were two brain surgeries, a near-death experience, two years of healing. I was already connected to God this just created more!!!
In this I share my outlook... which comes from my spiritual and grounding practice of meditation.
To give a bit more background, if you are interested, all of this happened in a week. Everything started with a headache that wouldn't go away on Monday which quickly translated into dizziness and then to not feeling good AT ALL. I went to doc in a box on Friday then to the emergency room on Sat morning where I was there rushed to a hospital. CAT scan showed single mass in my lung and three in my head.
