Coach builder Huber announces that the Aventador facelift delivered its first vehicle at U. K.
Huber, the coach builder who earlier this year announced an Aventador facelift has delivered their first vehicle to a United Kingdom based customer during a spectacular launch. The membership Secretary of the Lamborghini Club UK, none other than Ciro Ciampi also founder of the car community Petrolheadonism received his latest toy on the lawn of the former residence of David & Victoria Beckham, Rowneybury House in England’s prestigious Hertfordshire.
The Estate is currently home to one of Britain’s most private car collections, creating a spectacular setting for the launch. The scene was not only complimented by the astonishing car collection, but by the attendance of Italian Supercar patron Fabio Lamborghini. The man himself was impressed by the Era and was happy to give his seal of approval by being the first to unveil the car to the world.
Spear headed by Sean-Peter Huber the brand is on a mission to build a new community of collectors and car enthusiasts who value going back to the drawing board. His passion for car design has put them in uncharted territory in the aftermarket, but the first steps are already telling of what an exciting future the brand holds.
Entitled ‘Era’ to mark ten years of the Aventador and to pay homage to the end of its production, Huber’s Era has created a new take on one of the worlds most revered supercars. The team have focused on creating new body panels that respect the familiar DNA, exchanging the front and rear bumpers with an entirely new design in carbon fibre and an optional carbon fibre trunk. Huber said “the Era should remind us of how much we all admired the Aventador when it was launched in 2011”.
The fully-funded project is independent of Lamborghini with first bumper units already scooped up by selected collectors who have been supporting Huber’s vision from the start. The Era starts at an attractive pricing point of 30,000 Euros and will be limited to 21 pieces in the current edition with the first one finding its home in the United Kingdom.
More positive messages came from Huber’s UK Distributor Supercar Service Ltd, who’s founder Raj Singh stated that in their eleven year history they have not found an aftermarket design that integrates so well with the LP-700-4 chassis. Bugatti Centodieci – First prototype for series development
The Centodieci1 evokes automotive history: the unique project is a tribute to the legendary EB 110. This few-off project comprises production of just ten vehicles for an exclusive clientele. The next phase is about to start for the hyper sports car with a W16 engine and 1,600 PS: the first prototype for series development is currently being assembled.
The design of the Centodieci with its flat front, low-slung front spoiler and three-part air intakes reinterpret the shape of the most famous super sports car of the 1990s. The EB 110 was a key milestone on the road to the revival of the Bugatti brand in 1998 at Bugatti’s historic headquarters in Molsheim, ultimately resulting in the first hyper sports car of the modern era – the Veyron.
The Centodieci is Bugatti’s way of paying its respects to the Italian entrepreneur Romano Artioli and architect Giampaolo Benedini, the men who created the EB 110 some 30 years ago. “The challenge for us was not to get caught up in the design of the legendary EB 110 itself and avoid focusing solely on a retrospective approach. Our aim was to create a modern interpretation of the shape and technology of that time: but at the same time, we didn't want to lose the charm and character of the EB 110. After all, the super sports car is still fascinating today with its distinctive design and technology,” says Achim Anscheidt, Design Director at Bugatti. The biggest challenge: to transform the very flat, wedge-shaped and graphically virtually two-dimensional body of the EB 110 into a modern, three-dimensional sculpture to project the fascination of the super sports cars of that time into the modern age.

Genesis reveals G70 Shooting Brake
Genesis Motor Europe has revealed the G70 Shooting Brake, a car designed with European customers in mind.
The new G70 Shooting Brake is based on the G70 sedan revealed last year, combining enhanced practicality with the brand’s award-winning design.
The Shooting Brake name refers to a body style firmly rooted in European automotive history and favoured by customers in the premium luxury sector. The G70 Shooting Brake will offer greater practicality, and will further expand the Genesis line-up to meet customers’ needs.
The G70 Shooting Brake is the same size as the new G70, measuring in at 4,685mm long, 1,850mm wide and 1,400mm tall, with a 2,835mm wheelbase. Meanwhile, the luggage space is 40 percent larger than the G70 sedan and its rear seats can be split-folded in versatile 4:2:4 format.
Inheriting its design from the new G70 sedan, the G70 Shooting Brake’s signature Crest Grille is set lower than the Quad Lamps, which spread outward to evoke a sprinter’s pre-race posture and highlight the model’s athletic design.
When viewed from the side, the combination of the single-piece glass hatch extending to the rear, with the floating integral spoiler, communicates the G70 Shooting Brake’s athletic intent.
At the rear, luggage space is maximised by moving the tailgate hinges forward. While the Quad Lamps which underpin the Two Lines signature, the epitome of the Genesis brand identity - extend to the surface of the hatch to create a unique impression.
With the G70 Shooting Brake, the fifth Genesis model to arrive in Europe, the brand will further strengthen its position by launching a model that demonstrates its commitment to the European market.
On 4 May, Genesis officially announced its plans for the European market, the home of premium luxury cars. The brand will commence European sales later this year, starting with Germany, the UK and Switzerland.
