What is Ventolin and how is it used?
Ventolin HFA is a prescription medicine used to treat the symptoms of acute or severe, or exercise-induced asthma (broncospasm). Ventolin HFA may be used alone or with other medications.
Ventolin HFA belongs to a class of drugs called Beta2 Agonists.
It is not known if Ventolin HFA is safe and effective in children younger than 4 years of age.
What are the possible side effects of Ventolin?
Ventolin may cause serious side effects including:
wheezing,
choking,
breathing problems,
chest pain,
fast heart rate,
pounding heartbeats,
fluttering in your chest,
severe headache,
pounding in your neck or ears,
pain or burning when you urinate,
increased thirst,
increased urination,
dry mouth,
fruity breath odor,
leg cramps,
constipation
irregular heartbeats,
numbness or tingling,
muscle weakness, and
limp feeling
