also on the way to the show, there was adead critter on the road annd 2 carion birds feeding on it, as we drove up we thought "buzzards" but when these two Huge birds flew off we realized... they were Bald Eagles! Majestic.

it is chambered in "38" and supposedly uses 38 S&W Long or short. All I had was a few old 38 Short Colt so... and it works fine. I LOVE older guns....

The as far as I can tell very first metallic cartridge issue rifle in Europe Made in 1871 by Edouard Beaumont a engineer at Delft and adapted in 1888 by addition of the Vitalli Magazine system as many of these large caliber black powder rifles later were.
