Hillier introduces Bill to limit length of prorogation
One year after Premier Dalton McGuinty prorogued the Legislature, Randy Hillier, MPP for Lanark-Frontenac-Lennox and Addington, has introduced a Bill to limit the length of time a government can prorogue by cutting off the taps. Right now, a government can have a prorogation lasting up to a year in length. This Bill, if passed, would limit the length of time that the Lieutenant Governor in Council could continue to pay for the government to 60 days since the last time it sat. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GYs_6KOaKUk

Randy Hillier, MPP for Lanark, Frontenac, Lennox and Addington speaking on the so-called "Green Ribbon" program.
We all expect more from the government than just fluffy green ribbons. We should be talking about the real issues, about how young adults across Ontario can't get apprenticeships, about the people out of work and about really fixing the environment.

Despite the abhorrent actions by Stratford Police, No More Lockdowns Stratford was successful in holding their rally at an alternate location. Those who represent Stratford should feel ashamed for the actions they allowed to happen in an attempt to stifle our right to assembly.
Thank you to everyone who came out, especially Derek Sloan, MP and enjoy the speech. Share with your friends and look out for more events soon.

Around the world, thousands of doctors are speaking out against their government's overreaction to COVID and the harmful, negative effects of this heavy handed response.
Yet here in Canada, except for a few, our doctors have been comparably silent.
I've spoken to many doctors who agree that the current measures are not only unnecessary, but are more of a detriment to our health than any benefit, however they are unable to speak out for fear of professional retribution at the hands of their professional college, the health bureaucracy or their public employer.
In a society that values truth over conformity everyone must be free to speak their conscience without fear of reprisal and without coercion.
Let's encourage our Canadian Doctors to be lions speaking truth to power, not silent lambs.
And let's all speak up and speak truth to power and spread the message.
