Climb the ladder and you’ll see birds dropping Bob-ombs. There are cracked floors that will wipe out completely when bombs explode on them. Place a door potion on the cracked blocks and enter sub-space for the first Yoshi Egg. Ride an Albatoss that goes left and grab 2 A Coins while you’re riding. At the landing far left, pick up the vegetable and a rocket will take you higher into the sky. Do a power jump from a small pillar to get the 3rd A Coin. Pass some Snifits then make a return trip around the clouds and pillars to get to the other side of the tall pillar. Go up the ladder and you’ll see Sparks on pegs. The 4th A Coin is by the set of pegs. Go up some ladders and you’ll see Hoopsters as well as Snifits. Grab a door potion on the right pillar and place it to find the 2nd Yoshi Egg in sub-space. Go to the top and enter the boss room to take on Birdo. The 5th A Coin is right above Birdo. On Thursdays, you’ll see a Jellicent in the water just south of the shore at the Undella Bay. Use Surf and save your game. This Jellicent is on Level 40 and has its special dream world ability called Damp. No Pokémon will be able to use Selfdestruct or Explosion as long as the Pokémon having this ability is on the field. Since Jellicent is Water/Ghost type, Net Balls work best.

On any day between 6:00 A.M. and 10:00 A.M., Clair will be inside the Dragon’s Den just behind a boat dock. Talk to her and she will give you her phone number on the PokéGear. Call her on a Friday night and she will be at the Fighting Dojo in Saffron City. Gyarados holding a Wacan Berry will use Dragon Dance to raise its stats and Waterfall for a 20% chance of making the target flinch. Dragonair will use Thunder Wave to paralyze the target and Dragon Rush for a 20% chance of making the target flinch. Aerodactyl will use Rock Slide for a 30% chance of making the target flinch. Kingdra will use Yawn to make the target sleep the next turn and Dragonbreath for a 30% chance of paralyzing the target. Charizard will use Shadow Claw to more easily land a critical hit and Air Slash for a 30% chance of making the target flinch. Dragonite will use Safeguard to prevent status problems for 5 turns and Thunder for a 30% chance of paralyzing the target. Think of a whole variety moves you can use for this battle.

Steven can only be battled in the Champions Tournament. He uses some Steel types while the other half of his team is revived from fossils. Metagross will use Zen Headbutt to make opponents flinch and strike first using Bullet Punch. Aggron holding an Air Balloon will use Head Smash while the Rock Head ability prevents recoil damage and Metal Burst to counter any attack. Excadrill will use Sandstorm to make its Sand Rush ability take effect and Rock Slide to make opponents flinch. Archeops will use Quick Attack to strike first and Acrobatics after the Sitrus Berry is consumed. Cradily will use Stone Edge for critical hits. Armaldo will use Rock Blast to strike 2-5 times and Superpower with a White Herb restoring the lowered stats for once. Moves like Scald and Flamethrower work best for this round.

Crabs wander about over the cliffs of a raging river. Alligators will throw water balls, so stay alert for that. Seahorses and clam shells emerge from the water, so be sure to be on a lookout for that. Ride a log over water and you’ll face off against the same enemies you faced before. Clam shell emerge from the waterfall, so watch carefully as you cross over. Ride the log and watch for various enemies coming from the water. After some alligators jump from the water, continue ahead and you’ll reach the goal.

Cianwood City’s gym has boulders that require Strength to move. After battle a few Black Belts, you’ll take on the gym leader. Chuck uses Fighting type Pokémon. Primeape will use Karate Chop to make hits turn critical often. Poliwrath will use a 3-way combo by using Hypnosis, Mind Reader, and Dynamicpunch. After winning, you’ll receive the Storm Badge and a TM01 (Dynamicpunch). Dynamicpunch is inaccurate but it will cause massive damage and confuse the target if it strikes.

Use the Temple Key and a golden statue will vanish, allowing you to enter a pipe to a room where Belome awaits. During the rematch, Belome will trigger aura flashes, summon light beams, and sing lullabies to put the target to sleep. It can also swallow a fighter and make a duplicate of the one it just swallowed. If the clone is intact, Belome cannot be damaged by any attack unless the clone is gone firsthand. Defeat the clone and redirect your attention over to Belome. After the battle, press the switch and escape the temple, which leads to Monstro Town.

In the Hidden Grotto at Route 5, things there change every day. You might encounter a different Pokémon there as well. Liepard is one of the 3 Pokémon that appear in this Hidden Grotto. It is between Levels 20-25. It also has the hidden ability Prankster. With Prankster, it gives priority to any non-damaging move.

For this round, both Onix have evolved. Both Steelix can slow opponents down as one knows Rock Tomb and the other one knows Dragonbreath. Hitmonlee, Hitmonchan, and Machamp will use Rock Slide in case you use any Ghost or Flying types and the move can cause the targets to flinch. If you try to confuse Machamp, it will use a Persim Berry. Try using moves like Flamethrower and Psychic for an advantage.

This requires Oak’s Letter that can be obtained via Nintendo Event. Speak to a green man at any Pokémon Center to get Oak’s Letter. With this item, go through a certain path through Victory Road onto Route 224. Meet Professor Oak by White Rock and thank the statue for anything. A new and very long path known as the Seabreak Path will form. After going a long way, you’ll reach Flower Paradise. Once you go there, save your game. Shaymin is on Level 30. It will use Leech Seed to steal HP from opponents and use Synthesis to restore its own HP. Ultra Balls should work just fine. Once Shaymin reaches Level 100, it will learn its signature move called Seed Flare. Seed Flare has a 40% chance of sharply lowering the target’s Special Defense stat.
