This piece is technically called as GEETH-TRIWAT, The NRUTTA form of Kathak. Indian musical notes becomes a refrain to the melody to which the dancer moves depicting the different musical instruments, in the GEETH segment of the dance while the syllables of the tabla, especially the TIRKIT kaydas become the main element in the TRIWAT segment. The percussion syllables are danced to and signed off with a friendly jugalbandhi between the dancer and the percussion.
