Tried 3D printing another siren, and this one turned out a lot better. The motor is a bit underpowered (although I think it's an issue with my power supply) and it doesn't really get to full speed unless the air intake is blocked.
No, I'm not dead. Here's a new siren I made. It was supposed to be a miniature model 5 but I kind of gave up on that because I couldn't design a housing that would be easily 3D printable.
If anyone's interested I can publish the .stl files. Also, I have a much bigger siren in the works that I will post videos of within the next few months so please be sure to subscribe! ?

I did the unthinkable and recorded the infamous Hudson T-135. Met up with several other enthusiasts, it was pretty fun. I'm going to be recording more sirens like this from here on out.
I wouldn't typically describe a siren as "painfully loud", but this one was definitely deserving of that title.

...I tried recording a 2001-130 for the evening statewide drill. This is the same one that was featured in my "spooky 2001" video a few months ago, and unfortunately it seems to be completely dead now. I reported it back when it was still rotating and so I thought it would work but I guess not. That aside, enjoy the nice ambiance that was captured.
Other sirens heard include an Eclipse-8, several Whelen Vortexes, and a few other 2001s of various types.
