Day 3 was slightly better. Had some stupid mikes again and they were really stupid ones. I know what my problem is, 1) Gun shoots high at 25yrds (n00b) and don't rush off your shots on wide open static targets. I get too excited and throw a shot off an easy target. Done that 4-5 times this match.
Came in 58th overall. My best stage was a 10th place on Ultimatum and I was stoked as I beat a lot of top level shooters on it.
Had a ton of fun at the Nationals, it was a really rewarding experience seeing what national level stages and shooters are like, meeting great people, YouTube fans and meeting shooting idols.
Here's me and Ken shooting the Bang & Clang (my favorite) classifier. It's a really fast one and helluva fun to shoot. As you can see, Ken is MUCH faster on the draw and as a result shot a lot better than me. I can blame it on the double action trigger but what is clear is I could have cut half a second at least on my draw. That would have been a Master class attempt. 3:10sec and 2 Alpha gave me a A Class performance.

Took the opportunity to splice together the match video of myself and Mark (who was shooting in the squad ahead of us) to compare his performance vs mine.

Well, what can I say, I thought it was an ammo issue but I used a different batch of ammo and the gun still locks up. Everything runs well when I switch to my backup so I have no idea what's going on.
I'm going to shoot the next match with my backup gun just to take ammo out of the equation. If the backup gun locks up next match, then I know for sure it's an ammo issue.
These Open Gremlins are TOUGH to identify and neutralize. :(
