Second last day in the Flinders, on the return half of Mount Gill, this happens.
Lisa and the CRF emerged relatively unscathed.
Lisa had a probable light concussion, but managed to complete the ride back to camp (carefully).
She really felt it the next day, and is having a few weeks off the bike as she lets her sore body recover.
For those interested, I used DAIN to interpolate the 30FPS raw footage into 240FPS for the purposes of effective slow motion.
DAIN is a CUDA based AI Neural Net app that essentially predicts and creates frames within frames, and can be run multiple times to absurdly high frame rate results from base footage.
Computed on a RTX 3090 + AMD Ryzen 12 core.

Hey guys,
Just a short and sweet video of my preferred carrying method for my Skydio 2 autonomous drone.
Initially I was putting the drone into a backpack - but this necessitated a larger backpack than I typically prefer to wear. This method of attaching the smaller hard case to the rear of the bike works very well, I can launch the drone quickly and easily and bike drops haven't caused any damage at all to the drone.

G'day guys,
Just a short cinematic as we rode through Abbeyards Rd over the weekend. It felt like a nice safe open area to fly the drone and capture some lovely footage.
There are two instances of Skydio 2 evasion alchemy, one about half way through the vid, the other towards the end. I felt as though the drone would crash and burn, for sure.
I'm happy to be wrong! The drone lived on!

Hey guys. This is a VLOG I put together of a ride with my local enduro riding crew. A good bunch of blokes, some new to the group - and the first ride with these guys on my KTM 690 Enduro R. Some familiar faces can be seen - Oz on his 250 EXC, Kinga on his Beta 480RR, etc.

This ride was through some local bush, pretty flat but a fun blast with sandy areas. We enjoyed a BBQ at the end of the day, and plenty of friendly banter.
I am making these VLOG's for my own record, and a record for the riders present on the day - a great memory we can look back on when old and frail. These VLOG's might not be super interesting to you, the viewer - but oh well!

Lisa and I have recently purchased a pair of these lovely little E-Moto's - the Talaria Sting, imported by AE Bikes in Sydney. These are a lot of fun, we've been riding them for the past few days in a variety of terrain. They're quiet, easy to handle, rechargeable and pack a nice little punch of power for a compact platform.
I see them as filling a space between our E-MTB's and our petrol-powered Enduro bikes.
This is a little slow-motion teaser of Lisa tearing up the driveway. Naughty!

Late spring last year I went for a ride with Dick and Atreyu. The plan was to ride to the Little Desert, camp out in Dimboola, and spend another few days heading up into the Big Desert, and exploring the various awesome sand riding on offer up there.
It was a great few days; with a few little hiccups - that can occur on any adventure ride. You'll see these in the video.
The fellas took to sand riding quickly, and while they struggled a bit when we started, they were all over it towards the end of the few days. Fast learners!
Anyway, sorry for the delay in getting this out - but better late than never :)

I've recently started using an app called BLEvo (sorry for my crappy mispronunciations in the video), which is a combination of the terms Bluetooth Low Energy and the Levo bike (a Specialized E-Mountain Bike).
This is a short clip of my first impressions with the BLEvo application and I'll do a full review after a bit more time with it, and also after some experience with the Heart Rate monitor integration.
However, having only used the app for a few days, it already surpasses the Mission Control app in every way.

This app allows for incredible customization of your Specialized Turbo Levo or Kenevo, and is far more functional than the stock Specialized Mission Control application.
Main functionalities:
- you can configure some parameters of your eBike Specialized Turbo Levo / Kenevo.
- Bike Monitor: monitor your eBike's performance (including motor power and biker power) and lets you save all data in a CSV, TCX and GPX file
- Smart HR: with this feature the assistance will be adjusted automatically based on the measurement of the associated Heart Rate Monitor
- Smart Power: with this feature the assistance will be adjusted automatically based on the measurement of the associated Biker Power
The app will be updated constantly as needed.

Hey guys,
How's it going? It has been 3 weeks since my last video, I apologise. I have a lot of video edits in the pipeworks but I haven't finished them up yet. To get the creative juices flowing again, here is a ride Vlog with Lisa on her new Africa Twin. She picked this bike up last week, and we had a fun day out on a mixture of dirt and sealed roads.
I talk a little bit about her bike, and of course a lot about my 2019 KTM 690 Enduro; and the further modifications I have made to the bike.
Lisa and I have planned a few longer trips, and even though our bikes fit different segments of the adventure bike market, there is plenty of overlap between them. Lisa should be able to tackle plenty of trails on her AT as she grows accustomed to riding it - the only issue will be when it comes time to pick it up.
Anyway, a big thankyou to all those people who have been commenting, subscribing, and giving my videos a thumbs up. I'm enjoying the process of vlogging and video creation and I hope to continue to publish many more videos into the future.
