This week I had the opportunity to try out some more day-trading. Overall a success! Still coping with a lot of emotions from this week: FOMO, regret, etc. (especially from ABIL, what an opportunity gone to waste!). But overall I can't complain, coming out of the week with +11%! What I learned this week: 1) Wait for identifiable patterns before taking a trade. If you don't see an opportunity, wait for the next one. Just because you can trade doesn't mean you have to! 2) When a trade is going your way, keep holding until the pattern breaks. Alternatively, lock-in your profits! a small 1% gain is much better than going negative, especially when the pattern you are trading begins to falter... 3) If you see an opportunity that lines up with your trading strategy, take the trade! Don't wait and think that tomorrow will bring a better trade opportunity; it may not, and you might regret not taking a trade (ABIL *cry*). 4) Just because a trade initially goes against you doesn't mean it won't turn back around (ANY *cry*). However, you will have to balance the "hope that it will recover" vs. the "long-term strategy of strict risk-management" which (in my opinion) takes precedence. Thank you for watching!
