Hello, Jason Cain here and welcome to the Ancient wisdom modern mind podcast and today I would like to share my view on spiritual enlightenment and speaking the truth about enlightenment.
The world is brimful of different cultures, traditions, religions and languages. People living in one geographic location comprehend things in a different manner as compared to those living in another geographic location. However, one thing that is common in people all around the world is their constant search for spiritual enlightenment and the spiritual experience itself. Spirituality, unlike religion, is universal and gives you freedom to choose your path and experience.
The traditional concept of enlightenment comes from the spiritual traditions of India notably the various schools of Yoga, Vedanta and Buddhism and denotes the highest state of spiritual attainment. The End of the path. Some of the synonymous for enlightenment, given by different schools of thought, are:
• Buddhism : Nirvana, Liberation, Awakening, Cessation
• Yoga : Liberation, Realization, Release, Aloneness (kaivalya), Union (yoga), Perfection (poorna)
• Vedanta — Self-realization, Self-knowledge, Jnana
The whole concept of being spiritually enlightened is having an ability to completely comprehend yourself, life and the world around you. However, spiritual enlightenment is a sudden experience which makes it hard to define as the experiences vary from person to person.
Nowadays there are many people who judge them to be enlightened, and for 99% of those enlightened gurus are either confused about full enlightenment or they have no experience or they are fake gurus. The ego is a master of deceit, and it can hide itself in spirituality too.
▶️ Gradual or Sudden Enlightenment:
Many of the traditions mentioned above agree that enlightenment is already here and now, and that it is our true nature of reality. We often get carried away by an emotional explanation of enlightenment. But no enlightened being can tell you about when they became enlightened because it a gradual process that grows unnoticed.
One day you simply realize your ego is dead and you are no longer bound by your humanity. Since the human is dead, an enlightened being cannot tell you stories. They can remember the bliss of transition, slowly after decades of effort

So, in the concept of Infinite Duality I will bring together five different concepts as evidence for why Humanity is Bound by Dualistic Awareness and these are;
• The Five Elements theory of ancient philosophy,
• The Philosophy of Dualism.
• The Five Platonic Solids of Geometry,
• The Penrose Pattern of mathematics,
• and the Light Wave Particle Duality of Probability in Quantum Mechanics.
Now this is nothing new, as the ancient Greek philosopher Plato. 360 B.C. theorized that the classical elements of the world were made of these regular solids. And theorized that the Five Platonic Solids represented the Five Basic Elements: —wood or (air), fire, earth, metal or (universe), and water.

This suggests that our perception of time is a subjective experience of the perceived duration of events, which can differ significantly between different individuals and/or in different circumstances, and yet paradoxically physical time appears to be more or less objective.
Our modern understanding of time is rooted in Newtonian classical mechanics, but our sense of time is a product of consciousness, this at first glance seems to suggest that time is fixed. But I am suggesting that the fixed idea of time is flawed become of the old idea that time is a Four Dimensional construct.

Alan Wilson Watts (6 January 1915 – 16 November 1973) was a British philosopher, writer, and speaker
He was a British philosopher, writer and speaker, who held both a Master's in Theology and a Doctorate of Divinity. He was well known for his research on comparative religion, and was best known as an interpreter and popularizer of Asian philosophies for a Western audience.
He wrote over 25 books and numerous articles on subjects such as personal identity, the true nature of reality, higher consciousness, the meaning of life, concepts and images of God and the non-material pursuit of happiness. In his books he relates his experience to scientific knowledge and to the teachings of Eastern and Western religion and philosophy.
In his lectures he talks about Zen, Meditation, Buddhism, Hinduism, Pantheism, Christianity, Religious naturalism, Taoism, and Theology, Personal identity, Higher Consciousness, Aesthetics, Cultural criticism, and Public ethics.
Overall Alan Watts developed an extensive audio library of nearly 400 talks and wrote more than 25 books during his lifetime, including his final volume, Tao; the Watercourse Way. Alan died in his sleep in November of 1973 after returning from an intensive international lecture tour.

Have you heard of your vagus nerve? It's a nerve that connects your brain to your gut and is in charge of
• making sure your organs are doing ok and,
• turning on your body's anti-stress parasympathetic nervous system response.
Try this 1 minute breathing meditation to activate your vagus nerve and jumpstart your anti-stress response for a quick stress relief before a performance or if you are suddenly feeling overwhelmed and you will feel more settled and calm by spending just 1 minute focused on your breathing with this quick relaxation techniques.
Just 1 minute will help you feel refreshed and clear your head whenever you feel you need a break in your day while helping reduce stress and recharge your energy.
Your vagus nerve plays a key role in your overall well-being and performance. Whether you are feeling anxiety or depression, you can use tools to engage your social nervous system to re-establish higher order nervous system functions.
▶️ Here’s how it works: using Diaphragmatic breathing, or “belly breathing
• Breathing through the nose
• Breath into the Diagram to a count of 5
• Breathing out drawing in the belly to a count of 7
• Repeat the cycle.

Hello and welcome to the Ancient wisdom modern mind podcast and in this audio I talk about the not-doing of Zazen.
Our minds are in a permanent state of action, always racing around erratically, constantly begging you to stimulate it, to think something, to do something, despite all our attempts to truly center ourselves, to meditate and to be content with zero activity.
But consider for a moment. When you're truly engrossed in something, when your truly involved deeply in the worlds doings, can you grasp the nature of self by looking at a world of doings? By jumping from one doing to the next doing?
The reason we are currently unable to realize peace and contentment is because such inter peace can only be realized through not-doing. In other words, you can't know this inner peace through struggle, or by meddling with whatever is happening right now because you yourself are a part of this momentum.

So what are the proponents of love? Are they a harmless bunch of Romantics demanding freedom of worship for their individual ideas? Or are they really attempting to cancel everyone else’s ideas?
We have all heard this doctrine of love being pushed in spiritual groups, and love seems to have become a blanket statement that the mob now shouts.
We are told that divine love and forgiveness are what is needed in order to save us. That we must love everyone as we love ourselves, and we must forgive. First ourselves, then anyone or anything that has hurt, harmed, or damaged us in any way.

Hello and welcome to the Ancient wisdom modern mind podcast and in this podcast I want to share with you the four basic steps involved in Zen meditation. And how if you don’t like what path your life is taking, how meditation will give you the power to simply change your trajectory.
Through meditation we can become more self-aware of how our lives are unfolding, and this self-awareness gives us the choice to choose your own destiny, a destiny were no one needs to live a life that they don’t want to live, and you could even say that this is your human right, the right to choose.
Now I’ve been getting this question a lot. Like Jason how do I meditate? What’s the right way to do it? Am I doing it right? Should I do this? Should I do the guided meditation or should I just, you know, sit down and do it myself? What’s the right thing to do?
So in this podcast, I’m going to share with you why you should meditate, what’s the biggest mistake you can make, and the best way you can start meditating right now and actually the true purpose of meditation itself.
