1980 by David and Lisa Loden
For my heart is Yours; my soul and my spirit are Yours. Yes, my lips are Yours, also my hands are Yours; my whole life is Yours, O Lord. Then I turned to my own way. In spite of all this, You chose me and redeemed me wholly, Lord.
KI (for) LIBI (my heart) L'CHA (is Yours)
KI (for) NAFSHI (my soul) L'CHA (is Yours)
KI (for) RUCHI (my spirit) L'CHA (is Yours) ADON (Lord).
KEN (yes) S'FATAI (my lips) L'CHA (are Yours)
GAM (also) YADAI (my hands) L'CHA (are Yours)
KOL (all) CHAYAI (my life) L'CHA (are Yours) ADON (Lord).
AZ (then) PANITI (I turned) L'DARKI (to my way)
B'CHOL (in spite of) ZOT (this) BACHARTA (You chose) BI (me),
UFADITA (and redeemed) ET KULI (all of me) ADON (Lord).
כי לבי לך
כי נפשי לך
כי רוחי לך
אדון
כי שפתי לך
גם ידי לך
כל חיי לך ,אדון
אז פניתי לדרכי
בכל זאת בחרת בי
ופדית את כלי ,אדון

Scripture Reference: 1 Peter 1.10,11
Reference to Jewish Midrash:
R. Shim'on ben Laqish explained: "and the spirit of God hovered over the face of the water (Gen. 1.2)-this is the spirit of King Messiah, as it is written, And the spirit of the Lord will rest upon him (Isa. 11.2). By what merit will it [the spirit of the Messiah] come?...By the merit of repentance." (Gen. Rab.2.4) [Berisheit Midrash Rabbah 2.4]

It is NOT a fact that King Cyrus was a Zoroastrian.
Show me the archeological proof and manuscript evidence that links even the mention of Zoroastrianism and King Cyrus.
You cannot because it does not exist.
Therefore, amounst other reasons as well, I do not believe that King Cyrus was a Zoroastrian or that the religion of Zoroastrianism was existant during the period of Cyrus.

"Cyrus was not a Zoroastrian[Parsee] because Zoroastrianism became the national religion of Persia(Iran) by the Sassanian Dynasty who were the succeeding dynasty of Persia. Cyrus had founded the Achaemenean Dynasty. The national religion of Persia(Iran) established during the beginning of the Medean Dynasty was Magianism. Not to be confused with Zoroastrianism of religious reformer Zoroaster[Zartosht;Zarathustra]. Zoroaster's timeline was never finalized by scholars and historians of Persia(Iran)."

"The proclamation of Cyrus shows that he was not a Zoroastrian like Darius and Xerxes, but that as he claimed to be the successor of the Bab. kings, so also he acknowledged the supremacy of Bel-Merodach the supreme Babylonian god."

"...and the cylinder-inscription shows very clearly that Cyrus was a polytheist..."
