Prosecutors press on with cold cases involving Paul Apodaca Paul Apodaca was indicted in 3 murder cases, which are moving forward simultaneously. The actual trial dates are to be determined. The defense has questions on how the 'confessions' were obtained, and want them thrown out. As of January 2023 prosecutors have interviewed up to 50 witness', and still have a lot more to go. Some overlap, while others don't. Some witness' are hard to track down, while others have passed away. In Kait Arquette's case, Paul Apodaca 'admitted' to killing her: however he may, or may not have been the actual shooter, but was defiantly involved.
