Earthquakes in Iceland revisited. Several months back, Iceland had a lot of earthquakes surrounding and all over the island. Volcanoes were erupting and several were in warning status. Well, it's Iceland Revisited.
Learning about the earth is so fascinating. Covered how an Icelandic Volcano was responsible for the Ice Age in the 5th Century. This devasted many in Europe at the time and took it by storm. This was during the time of the Dark Ages.
Surrounding several volcanoes, there are small earthquakes leading up to volcanoes and surrounding volcanoes. From the app's ledger, the earthquakes are following a Divergent Boundary and a fault line. This could be very dangerous from the information I researched after the video. Our next Iceland video will discuss a short history of the Icelandic Volcanoes and the Boundary Lines' influence on the land.
We'll keep an eye on the earthquake clusters that are highly concentrated around the volcanoes. Currently, out of 35 identified volcanoes in Iceland, there are only two currently classified under "Unrest Status".

Strong Tornadoes and Severe Gusts Hit The South
Weather Update:
The strong tornadoes and severe gusts hit the South hard and the result has been damaged buildings. Roofs ripped off of apartments displacing up to 15 people in the middle of the night in Mississippi and Alabama. One town mentioned was Eutaw Alabama which had a roof missing from an apartment complex. Strong tornadoes were near the Gulf Coast in Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, and Georgia.
When the strong tornadoes left Texas they were enroute to threatening more than 25 million people. No fatalities were known at the time of this video. There were 4 people injured from the strong tornadoes and severe gusts. Debris was thrown thousands of feet in the air.
The National Weather Service stated that the threat of a supercell is still ongoing. The Eutaw Police are going to knock door to door when daylight breaks to ensure residents aren't stuck in their homes from the intense storms.
Tornado warnings were issued Tuesday afternoon and throughout the evening. There was 2-inch hail hit the South and very severe gusts of the lower to mid-Mississippi Valley, Mid-South, and parts of the Southeast according to the Watchers website.
The Watchers website also stated that NWS Storm Prediction Center received 22 tornado reports.

A strong tornado hit Jackson Mississippi in Choctaw County. Two strong tornadoes hit Columbus Mississippi. There was a tornado near Columbus Air Force Base in Lowndes County. In Columbus Mississippi, a large and strong tornado damaged a local volunteer fire and rescue building.
A strong tornado hit Caldwell Parish Louisiana. There are pictures on Twitter showing the large tornadoes in Yazoo City Mississippi and in Bassfield Mississippi.
Significant damage occurred 4 people were seriously injured. This storm will definitely have a long trail of storm damage in several states and counties.
There are a lot of power lines down and trees are blown onto homes due to the strong tornadoes and severe gusts. There are still power outages as of this video.

Earthquakes and seismic activity is happening more frequently all over the world. Places like Indonesia, Chile, California, Africa, Papua New Guinea, Mexico, New Zealand, Japan, Alaska, Haiti, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Iceland, Greece, Tonga, Nevada, Columbia, South Sandwich Islands, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Nicaragua. Sicily, Italy, Turkey, Iran, Switzerland, Utah, Panama, Oklahoma, Spain, Oregon, Philippines, Japan, Alaska, India, Washington, and Hawaii are just a few of the places experiencing an increase in seismic activity and earthquakes.
The earthquakes are occurring at the same time or just a minute or two apart all over the world. This is concerning due to a possible Pole Shift and the ripping of the New Madrid area.
I'm not a geologist, yet I am a researcher that analyzes nature patterns. Please research for volcanoes where you live on Google and do thorough research of your nearby areas. Investigate all National and State Parks near you.
With the increase of seismic activity, it's best to be aware of all possible hazards in your area. Download either a hazard or disaster app. They are very necessary in these times. Be sure your app doesn't just rely on one agency for reporting purposes. Download a multi-reporting agency app.

Japan was hit with a powerful earthquake coming in at a 7.3 Magnitude earthquake today. Japan's earthquake swarm was located right offshore and is located in the vicinity of Fukashima. I'm sure the residents may have thought this was a Fukushima earthquake with the magnitude and the area it may have affected. No Tsunami Warning as of this recording.
The Japan area has volcanoes located in the general area. The concern may be the movement of volcanic magma underground. Japan experienced the two strongest earthquakes in the last 24 hours. There was a tsunami warning, but the tsunami warning was discontinued.
The Pakistani earthquake was felt all the way in Qatar. Yet the Iranian earthquake was felt all the way in Qatar. This strong earthquake had a magnitude of 5.8 which was the 3rd highest earthquake in the last 24 hours.
There were a total of 17 strong earthquakes in the last 24 hours that registered over a 5.0 earthquake. Japan came in the lead with the 6.5 and 7.3 magnitude earthquakes. The full earthquake report today for earthquakes over 5.0 is below.

Ridgecrest California earthquakes continue, along with Searles Valley Ca and Little Lake CA. Basically, Southern California is experiencing many small earthquakes and tremors in the Santa Barbara area to the Borrego Springs CA area where volcanoes have existed. Watching weather and seismic activity is very vital during these times.
The Guadeloupe Island had a 5.2 earthquake and 132 reports were filed as a response to the earthquake.
Shasta Lake CA had a small earthquake and the area was relatively quiet. Cobb, CA and The Geysers, CA, near the Clear Lake Volcano, continue to have many tremors near the Geothermal plant otherwise the area would be calm.
Earthquakes weren't too bad in the Cascadia Mountain Range, yet there was a small earthquake near the base of Mt Rainier Volcano and at the base of the West Crater Volcano. Oregon was actually pretty quiet.
Reported an Unconfirmed 3.8 magnitude earthquake near Horseshoe Bend Arkansas and another Unconfirmed earthquake near Roswell, Georgia.
Discovered a few more earthquakes in Texas. Thank goodness the weather has cleared up in that area.
Just did a quick scan of areas we've been watching. China, Kazakhstan, and the surrounding areas still are receiving many earthquakes, along with the Indonesia and New Zealand areas.

Philippines 7.0 Earthquake, unconfirmed earthquakes? How can that be? There were aftershocks 6 aftershocks and 3 of the aftershocks were classified as 3 unconfirmed earthquakes. There were 2,256 people who responded that they felt the earthquake.
On Twitter, buildings collapsed or were damaged. NHK World News stated that the 7.0 Magnitude earthquake struck the northern Philippine island of Luzon where several buildings were damaged.

This is New Zealand Earthquakes Latest News Today. New Zealand has had 51 earthquakes in one day, basically in 24 hours. There has been an uptick in New Zealand's earthquake clusters this week around volcanoes. Some volcanoes are surrounded by a cluster of earthquakes. Earthquakes in New Zealand are no joke. They have had a total of 4,604 in the last 90 days and 18,284 earthquakes for the year so far. It's only July! It's still hard to believe, "New Zealand 51 Earthquakes in One Day!"

NZ has had a great deal of luck when it comes to volcano eruptions lately with the number of earthquakes they have. NZ has a lot of volcanoes.
