Chargin’ Chucks use shovels to release rocks. Cross lava pits using the platforms that will sink the moment you land on them. After a pipe that took you to a frozen room with fish and Spike Tops, hit a block to reveal a vine. After revealing a Yoshi egg from the ? Block, break blocks by spinning and cross some more lava pits until you reach the checkpoint. You’ll see more Chargin’ Chucks and lava pits. After crossing the lava pits, you’ll find the landing where a key is trapped then you’ll find the goal.

As you reach the top of Mt. Coronet where the Spear Pillar is, you’ll battle Mars and Jupiter after Cyrus unleashes the Red Chain. Your rival will come in and team up with you. For your rival, he adds Munchlax and his starter as well as Staravia have evolved. One Bronzor knows Reflect while the other one knows Light Screen. After a big bubble rolls by, you’ll find the first Yoshi Coin. Navigate the slopes and another big bubble will roll by. The 2nd Yoshi Coin is over a cloud. Cross from landing to landing and big bubbles will appear randomly. Pass by a few shell-less Koopas and you’ll find the 3rd Yoshi Coin over a body of water. After reaching the checkpoint, enter the pipe. As you navigate the clouds, Rexes and Banzai Bills will appear. You’ll find the 4th Yoshi Coin as you go along. Cross over a falling platform and Paratroopas will appear. The 5th Yoshi Coin is over a set of red blocks. Continue ahead and you’ll reach the goal.

Mistralton City’s gym contains giant fans that blow every few seconds, so quickly find green floors by walls to take cover. If you’re caught by the fans, you’ll be sent back to start or a couple of spaces by the wall behind you. Navigate a windy maze and you’ll spot the gym leader. Skyla uses Flying type Pokémon. In Challenge Mode, Skarmory is given a Sitrus Berry while Sigilyph is added. Swoobat will use Attract to stun opposite genders and Energy Ball to maybe lower their Special Defense stat. Skarmory will use Agility to speed up and Steel Wing to raise its Defense stat. Sigilyph will use Hypnosis to put opponents to sleep and Air Cutter for easy critical hits. Swanna will use Featherdance to sharply lower the Attack stat of foes and Roost to restore HP. After your victory, you’ll obtain the Jet Badge and a TM62 (Acrobatics). This move usually has a base power of 55, but if the user doesn’t have possession of an item, the move will do double the damage.
