The Kethane mod adds a natural resource to Kerbal Space Program, you can search for it, mine it and convert it into fuel. It opens up a whole bunch of new mission profiles, especially for interplanetary travel where fuel is at a premium.
Having squeezed past my neighbour I've found a lot of empty space out east, and, some interesting Landmarks. Meanwhile the rest of the galaxy is eager to get in touch.

Another round up of this "week's" news (always more than a week because I'm bad at scheduling) - 4 launches - 2 Soyuz, 1 PSLV & 1 Astra.
A whole bunch of cool NASA space science things happened. JWST published calibration images.
And Jared Isaacman is back for more Spaceflight - paying so he can test a SpaceX Space Suit outside the spacecraft while orbiting the Earth.

OSIRIS REX is set to launch from an Atlas V 411 in the next 24 hours, this configuration uses a single Solid rocket booster on the side which is a crazy concept if you're a seasoned KSP player. But there's technical reasons why this works, and design reason for why none of the Atlas V configurations use a symmetrical booster setup.

Virgin Orbit have joined a short list of private companies which have successfully developed and launched an orbit capable rocket. Launcher One is an air launched, cryogenically fueled 2 stage rocket able to carry about 300kilograms to a 500km orbit.
In terms of payload it's more capable than Rocket Lab's Electron, but more expensive, and able to operate from an airport so may actually launch satellites from the UK in the future.

After persistent FPS delays the developers of Star Citizen have released a small update to the game to the test servers. The most obvious additions are the Merlin & Scythe spacecraft, but deeper in we see a lot of changes to the flight mechanics, game balance and more.
But the FPS remains in development, and some high profile names have been complaining about the development process.

Something very different, but regardless, it's a game I'm really enjoying - Cultist Simulator is a card game themed around establishing a cult and unlocking forbidden knowledge. It's built around a real time card game but where half the story is figuring out the rules on how you ascend in power while avoiding the problems of hunters, insanity and depression.
