A week late and a dollar short, but I figured I’d stick with what I’d recorded closer to the time this all happened. It rained all last week for me, which stuffed up my nose – my voice may be just a lil off for this one. Nasally. I just kinda took it for granted that KiwiFarms would remain up for years to come, ever since I found out about it during the Kero the Wolf drama years ago. Intended as a forum site dedicated to A-logging Chris Chan, as trolls began to move on and a new generation of Lolcows came to be, the site diversified and became a repository of information and gossip for others deemed “eccentric” by the general public. This transitioned yet again in the same vein as Encyclopedia Dramatica by documenting those that some on the forums felt had committed wrongs, criminal or otherwise. While not explicitly a source of accurate information, it gradually became that way – the site culture had shifted. While KiwiFarmers should be regarded as trolls first, they did strive under certain conditions for accuracy of information, and would ridicule their own for anything less. As they exposed Pedophiles and Zoophiles for past wrong-doings, more and more YouTubers and internet denizens would visit the site to make their own determinations. However, a good proportion of KiwiFarms appear to be the least bit transphobic, standing in the way of what they refer to as “troons.” They openly use racial, homophobic, and transphobic slurs when referring to people, and have said far worse things under the auspices of the site. Largely apolitical, members of all political party’s can be found here, in spite of members of the right and left claiming that the ‘Farms favors the other side opposite their own. Given their activity’s of mocking people from a distance and exposing past wrong-doing, it’s no surprise that the site and its owner, Null, would garner so much hatred as more and more people learned of the ‘Farms existence. That all came to a head when Representative Greene and Keffals were swatted by what they claim to have been the ‘Farms doing. Cloudflare soon dropped KiwiFarms, and the rest is history...for now. Still accessible through Tor. This is a visceral reaction and merits a follow-up video, when I can pore through all materials available to me. Episode 10 sees to Calon realizing that he has a fundamental need for a weapon of some kind, and given the omnipresent dangers life in Mangolin poses, he makes inquiries and tries to track down a suitable dealer he can purchase one from. Through conversation and engaging with various passerby, he feels satisfied he’s found a reliable source to turn to. Protection will give him peace of mind, though his concerns aren’t completely placated… A Forlorn Conclusion is a film series being uploaded to YouTube, broken up into episodes for your viewing pleasure. Filmed almost entirely on VRChat through the use of improvisational actors from all walks of life, this is an ongoing project following my novel and story ideas with bursts of creative input from the cast. This was really just a passion-project that I embarked upon months ago with the friends I made on VRChat as I took on being a movie-director as another one of my hobbies. Hey, at least it’s better than the Star Wars Christmas Special! But, I guess that ain’t saying all that much. Ah well. So, for the past few months, I’d been filming a series with a cast of actors between friends and acquaintances gracious enough to partake in my filming pursuits. It’s not out yet, but the intro shows a few clips of what we’d filmed so far. With the working title of The Emergent Darkness, 8 estranged friends find themselves trapped in a sort of “dark world”, a strange reflection of the one they remember. This incarnation of the city of Brook Haven now seems to be filled with monsters, demons, and the undead. They struggle to survive the its many perils, how they came to be here, and how to survive long enough to return home. In an alternate universe to the canonical story, the 8 friends do not find their way back home, instead being lost in this alternate dimension. Months go by, and they find themselves still alive on Christmas Eve, although worn out and thoroughly over their situation. In spite of the hardships they’d faced, they try and make the best of it before they receive some unlikely visitors, one of which poses a particular danger to them with more sinister intent, all in the spirit of Christmas, apparently. Something about this song captivated me enough that I went back and asked the fellas to come with me for another number, and so we danced the night away. Helghast4000 was nice enough to humor my request at recording, as I was in VR mode at the time. 5 person song and dance is relatively uncommon, even rare on the MMD maps, at least, in my experience.
