Instagram has added a new update that allows you to use the Reels Remix feature for feed posts. Watch this video to learn how to duet Instagram feed posts in Reels!
#reelsduet #reelsremix #instagramremix #instagramupdate
This new update to the Remix feature will allow users to use Instagram feed posts in Reels the same way you can when you remix a Reel.
To remix an Instagram feed post, open the Instagram app and go to the post you’d like to Remix. This can be someone else’s post, or one of your own. Note that you cannot Remix carousel posts, it must be a single photo or video. Now, tap the three dots in the top right corner of the post. In the menu that appears, select Remix. This will open up a Reels recording screen with the post you’ve selected to remix on the left side of your screen, and your camera’s view on the right side. Use the tools on the left side to add music, effects, set your video’s playback speed, length, and more. Tap the grid icon to change the layout of your remix Reel. You can have them side by side, top and bottom, picture in picture, or green screen. If you want to upload a photo or video from your device’s camera roll to use for your Reel, tap the photo in the bottom left corner to choose one. If you want to record a new video, hold down the shutter button to record one with the in-app camera. After that you can edit and post your Reel as normal.

Want to limit how your child can use their iPhone to keep them from spending too much time on it, using certain apps, or talking to specific people? Watch this video to learn how to set up parental controls on iPhone.
To start setting up parental controls, grab the iPhone you want to set parental controls on, and open Settings. Then select Screen Time. Now, you can decide what limits you’d like to set up. The first category is Downtime. If you enable Downtime, you can schedule time away from the screen. During this time period, only apps you choose to allow will be available. You can set Downtime to Every Day for the time period to be the same daily, or Customize Days to set a different Downtime period for each day. This is useful if you want to allow more screen time on weekends, for example. You can also choose not to have Downtime on certain days. Select the start and end time you want to set. When you’re done setting this up, tap Screen Time to go back.
To choose which apps will be available during Downtime, tap Always Allowed. First you can decide which contacts your child is always allowed to communicate with. If you like, you can select Specific Contacts, such as only immediate family members, to be always allowed. Phone will always be allowed, so your child can make calls in the event of an emergency. By default, Messages, FaceTime, and Maps will also be available. You can choose to remove any of these from the Allowed Apps list if you like. To add other apps to the Allowed list, scroll down and tap the plus sign beside any app you want to always allow access to.
The next category is App Limits. In this section you can set usage limits for specific apps or categories of apps, so only a certain amount of time is allowed to be spent on those apps each day. For example, you may want to limit how much time is spent on games or social media apps. To set this up, tap Add Limit. Then you’ll see these categories to pick from. You can select an entire category, or tap the arrow beside a category to select specific apps that fall under that category. Select apps you want to set the same time limit for, then tap Next. Now, set the amount of time you’d like to allow your child to spend on these apps each day. You can also use the Customize Days option to set different time limits depending on the day of the week. When you’re done, tap Add. Repeat to set additional time limits for other apps if you wish.
Next up we have Communication Limits. Here you can specify which contacts your child can communicate with during regular allowed screen time as well as during downtime. These limits will apply to Phone, FaceTime, and Messages.
The last category is Content and Privacy Restrictions. Tap the switch at the top to enable restrictions. Here you c

In iOS 15, photos in iPhone Messages are presented in stacks when you send more than one. Watch this video to learn how to use photo collections in the Messages app!
#iPhoneTutorial #PhotoCollections
When you send multiple photos in the Messages app in iOS 15, your images will automatically appear in a stack, called a photo collection. This way, your conversation won’t end up overwhelmed and cluttered with individual photos.
To send a photo collection in Messages, open the conversation where you’d like to send one. Then, tap the apps icon. Tap the Photos icon. Select all the photos you want to send in your collection. If you like, you can add text to go along with your photos. When you’re done, go ahead and send it. As long as the other people in the chat have their iOS device updated to iOS 15 or newer, they will automatically see your photos in the collection format.
When you receive a photo collection, there are a few things you can do to interact with them. In your regular message view, you can easily swipe through to look at a collection of photos. Simply swipe left over a collection to view the next photo. If you’d prefer to see all the photos at a glance, tap the grid icon above the stack of images. This way, you can scroll through and see all the photos at once. Tap a photo to see it in full-screen view. If you’d like to save all the images in a collection to your Photos app, tap the download icon. Then tap Save to Photo Library. If you only want to download individual photos, hold down the photo you would like to download, then tap Save.
