New York Student JAILED in Dubai For a YEAR For Touching an Arm? Something Isn't Right Here...
Elizabeth Polanco De Los Santos, 21, was detained by airport security in Dubai International Airport earlier this year and had to be strip searched. She had a brace on and required assistance to put it back on. She got the attention of one of the Security Guards by touching her arm and from there, her legal troubles began.
There is so much about this story that doesn't add up. If it's true, it's horrific. But chances are, the truth lies somewhere in the middle.

Jonathan Majors was arrested via New York's Mandatory Arrest Law last week after his girlfriend FELT a certain way about a domestic dispute. Now, as is customary, some evidence is coming to light that clears the man's name. While he might very well be innocent and the charges will be dropped, the label of "domestic abuser" will forever haunt him because of a woman's FEELINGS at that moment.
Majors has lost work over this squabble. He was narrating the recent US Army recruitment campaign, but they have since pulled it. Smart marketing after the debacle that was the "I have two moms and that makes me brave" nonsense that saw all time record LOWS in recruitment!

The societal divide hasn't been more pronounced or more apparent than ever, and that's a good thing.

Los Angeles Dodgers Starting Pitcher Julio Urias has been suspended by the team after a Felony Domestic Assault arrest. Internal and external investigations are ongoing after the alleged incident happened after a LAFC and Inter Miami MLS match on Saturday.
This is the second such incident involving Urias, with the first happening in 2019. That was at best a misunderstanding, but at worst a white knight trying to hype up a situation for clout. This time around, we know very little, but the organization and MLB clearly have seen enough to derail this man's career.
This is the second time, for eerily similar circumstances, the Dodgers have a pitcher in hot water. We will see how they handle this as more information come out. The court date for Urias is scheduled for the 27th.

Tomb Raider Remastered Collection just got a new patch to remove a couple pictures in Tomb Raider III: The Lost Artefact that appeared in the fourth level of the game. They were pinup-style photos that had been included in the release since launch, but post patch they have disappeared. What's even more insane is that Aspyr and Crystal Dynamics didn't see fit to include the change in the patch notes.
Games are being rewritten before your very eyes. Unlike the patches that make changes to correct cannon like Final Fantasy 7: Remake seen before the launch of Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth, these changes make little to no sense from a story telling perspective, but for the sake of appealing to modern sensibilities, you could see that happening a mile away.
