For those loveline fans during the peak of the show's popularity during the Adam Carolla / Dr. Drew era. These shows came from tape transfers and made into mp3 format. I did not record or transfer any of these shows, so when there's missing audio and the conversation suddenly ends in the middle of something interesting on occasion isn't my fault. Nothing I can do about it, either.
(0:00:00) 01. 1998-05-28: The guest is Mackenzie Astin and is a new addition to the archive, but is missing the end and ends abruptly. After hearing Drew's recommendations for checking yourself for worms by putting tape on your ass and pulling it (and any potential worms) off with it, a caller does it and calls in with the results leading to some funny (disgusting) revelations about Adam's ass habits. Mackenzie is a decent guest and is a fan of the show, but is also disturbed and depressed by some of the things he hears both when he listens to the show and during this appearance.
(1:34:15) 02. 1997-12-17: The guest is Beth Broderick and is a brand new addition to the archive as is the next one and both are from late 1997. To give a little clarity, John Hiatt was in the week before this. In this week, Lords of Acid and David Johansen were in the previous two nights and next week, Alexandra Paul and Elise Neal are in. Beth is an average guest and leaves early, but overall a very solid show!
(3:06:23) 03. 1997-12-18: The guest is Caroline Rhea and is a brand new addition to the archive. This is also the day Chris Farley died. Caroline is a solid guest that contributes a fair amount to the show. She gets on well with Adam, cracks a few jokes herself and laughs a lot. This is an entertaining show! In the next volume, we'll get back to the 1998 shows.

(0:00:00) 01. 2000-06-12: The guest is Matthew Lillard. Dumb callers are featured in this one at the start, but this is a solid show. Loveline has hit it's peak IMO here in the middle of 2000 and it continues for quite awhile.
(1:36:28) 02. 02. 2000-06-13: This is a no guest show and Adam is in NYC and does the show drunk. He admits it and describes himself as being "loaded", so that's fun. He's not joking. Origin for Drew's "Sit your moist ass down" drop.
(3:11:33) 03. 2000-06-14: This is a no guest show and Adam is in NYC again after his final appearance on Conan and is in fact the appearance that caused Conan to ban Adam from the show. Lots of dumb callers in this show that can't follow a conversation which is always entertaining. Literally dumb callers all night long. Adam leaves for a few minutes at the end of the show to watch himself on Conan and Anderson eventually has to break up the rhythm with the Drew Boogie towards the end of the show in futility. Adam leaves one break early again, but great overall show!
(4:47:23) 04. 2000-06-15: The guest is Rosebudd and he is a love him or hate him guest due to him being an ex-pimp. It's interesting to hear about this kind of stuff even if you don't agree with it, but he is a little cocky at times.

(0:00:00) 01. 2001-08-07: The guest is Eddie Kaye Thomas. This part has four episodes because I skipped this one accidentally, so just tacked it on the beginning.
(1:32:38) 02. 2001-08-08: The guest is Seth Green. Seth is, of course, the voice of Chris Griffin on the show Family Guy which Adam loves. Adam gets Seth to do the voice several times.
(3:06:42) 03. 2001-08-09: This is a no guest show with the additional title of "Drew & Adam have gas" which is self explanitory. It's not epic, though.
(4:40:43) 04. 2001-08-12: This is a no guest show.

(0:00:00) 01. 2002-11-20: The guest is Cypress Hill.
(1:36:18) 02. 2002-11-21: The guest is Everlast. Adam talks about "Teem" the Russian Rapper again.
(3:12:22) 03. 2002-11-24: The guest is The Used.

(0:00:00) 01. 2004-02-04: The guest is Jeff Probst.
(1:35:05) 02. 2004-02-05: The guest is Story of the Year.

(0:00:00) 01. 1999-12-14: The guest is Natalie Raitano and is a brand new addition to the archive. The second caller, 57 year old Carol, is an interesting call. She sounds drunk making for an entertaining call with some funny moments.
(1:34:02) 02. 1999-12-15: The guest is 311 (specifically, Nick Hexum) and is replacing an incomplete, LQ recording. Nick is a little on the quiet side, but it's still a solid show between Adam and Drew.
(3:03:32) 03. 1999-12-16: The guest is Cypress Hill and Adam isn't here with no sub, so it's Drew solo with Cypress Hill and a brand new addition to the archive. I decided to leave this one in since Cypress Hill are always outstanding guests. Some good ol' fashioned Westwood 2 mic issues about a minute in as well. Also, Drew's views on weed begin to change a little. Cypress Hill turns an otherwise boring show into a halfway decent one.
**1999-12-19 through 1999-12-23 are Best of shows which are being saved for the end as a bit of an encore, so they will be skipped.
(4:31:47) 04. 1999-12-26: This is a no guest show. The first 35 mins or so are in HQ, but the rest is in lower quality which again had to be lowered significantly in volume. There's some pretty funny back and forths in this one including one about a potter's wheel. Origin of Adam's "Mom, I'm so MAD at you! I am so mad at you mom!" drop. More Taboo 2 talk and John from System of a Down calls in and Adam leaves the show early to get his copy of Taboo 2, but not without drama which causes a second conversation with John on the air. It's amusing how much Adam loves porn. I personally don't understand it, but that doesn't stop it from being fucking funny. Adam goes on a tirade about the tutorial video that came with his cell phone.

(1:30:17) 02. 2002-04-02: The guest is Tristan Taormino.

(0:00:00) 01. 2003-03-13: The guest is Evan Marriott. A caller cusses over the air and Evan repeats it I guess thinking cussing is allowed on the show. It's a funny moment.
(1:35:06) 02. 2003-03-16: This is a no guest show with "Book deal rant" as a supplementary title. There's a pretty funny call in this one.
(3:10:31) 03. 2003-03-17: This is a no guest show.

(0:00:00) 01. 1998-03-24: The guest is Tim Meadows and is yet another new addition to the archive. There's some splicing towards the end and some Drew drops throughout the show. It's a pretty solid show overall, but like most guests, Tim isn't all that involved with the callers though he does chime in from time to time.
(1:35:08) 02. 1998-03-25: The guest is Semisonic and is another new addition to the archive. Semisonic performs their hit of the year "Closing Time" in a live performance which means I don't have to edit it out. Adam gets to complaining about the temperature in the studio which becomes a running theme and a source of entertainment in the coming years.
(3:09:56) 03. 1998-03-26: The guest is Third Eye Blind and is yet another new addition to the archive.

(0:00:00) 01. 2000-01-26: The guest is Snoop Dogg and the Eastsidaz with Dr. Bruce in for Drew and is a partial of 21 minutes. Apparently, the new tape found of this show was mostly blank likely due to a recording error, so all we have is this segment which was the same segment we already had. Unfortunate to say the least. Snoop Dogg is always a good guest and doesn't hesitate to get involved in calls along with the Eastsidaz. Also, the origin of the Snoop Dogg "That's my main man, Mannaze!" drop. Even though it's only one segment, there are a couple laugh out loud moments. It's too bad we don't have more of this show. The guests are smoking weed in the studio and Dr. Bruce is there, but doesn't really say much of anything and is probably overwhelmed by the guests and all the weed smoking going on which is mentioned in the next show.
(0:21:20) 02. 2000-01-27: The guest is MxPx and is a brand new addition to the archive. Reference to James the Zoosexual in the first call of the show and Adam talks about why he is pro-beastiality. Drew drops are played again along with the Drew Boogie. There's a reference to the previous show with Snoop Dogg and how much weed was being smoked in the studio. Adam and Bruce admit to getting high from the massive amount of smoke floating around. It's a shame we don't have the rest of that show. As for the band. they don't say a whole lot.
(1:53:28) 03. 2000-01-30: The guests are Mo'Nique & Dorien Wilson and is another brand new addition to the archive. There is a drop origin from Monique saying "I'm real fat!" These two are decent guests especially Mo'Nique who seems to be having a blast.
(3:27:40) 04. 2000-01-31: The guest is Busy Phillips. Busy is a great guest. Towards the end of the show, Adam goes on a tirade about the morning-after pill, those pussy politicians and people who write letters.
(5:02:21) 05. 2000-02-01: The guest is Majandra Delfino. Majandra is an entertaining guest and is involved during calls off and on. The guys gamble on the first caller of the night, but not before Majandra shares a grocery receipt from Ralph's and some interesting things are discovered about Majandra. This is one of those weird shows because of the callers and even a couple kids get busted by their parents on the air. There's also some discussion about smoking weed. Majandra leaves a little early and Adam ends the show with a Lightning Round. This is an overall outstanding show.
