I have nothing but compassion for my fellow parents who struggle with this degree of honesty, and I know how hard it is to accept what I'm saying, but I challenge you to prove me wrong. Unlike so many of you, I don't want to care how my neighbors educate their kids. I don't want them caring how I do it either. I want them to have the same freedom I want for myself, and the ONLY way that's going happen is if we PAY OUR OWN WAY. The instant you are FORCEd to pay for someone else's choices, you want a say in those choices, as well you should. So everything I've said here applies to gov't funded so-called "school choice" too by the way, so do NOT use my speech to justify asking gov't to "give you" (that's "redistribute to you," no matter how you want to spin it otherwise) tax money to use "privately." When I say get the state out of education, I mean OUT, completely. As long as they have any say whatsoever in how much gets spent, they get to define what education is (and isn't), and no amount of wishing it were otherwise changes that reality. I will always be honest with you, I will always defend reality and truth. I will always defend individual liberty. That means I am 100% for a complete separation of school and state.
