After crossing the 2nd body of water, go to the next landing and turn left. Hit a block to reveal a P Switch that will invert the hard blocks and coins. Go through where the hard blocks were inverted and you’ll find the key. Pass some fish in the water and you’ll find the keyhole to insert the key so a secret way on the map will unlock.

Roxie is one of the Unova Leaders in the Pokémon World Tournament that can be battled in either the Unova Leaders or World Leaders Tournaments. Roxie is skilled in using Poison type Pokémon. Scolipede holds a Choice Scarf that raises its Speed but can only use one move. Toxicroak will use Swords Dance to power up and Drain Punch to steal HP from opponents. Garbodor will sometimes use Protect to avoid attacks for one turn. Crobat will use Tailwind to speed its team up for 3 turns and Zen Headbutt with a one-time support of a Psychic Gem. Drapion holding Scope Lens will use Night Slash and Cross Poison for more critical hits. Amoonguss will use Spore to put opponents to sleep and Giga Drain to steal their HP. Moves like Earth Power and Psychic would be useful for this round.

Glacia uses Ice type Pokémon. The first Glalie will use Light Screen to weaken special attack damage for 5 turns. The first Sealeo will use Ice Ball that gets stronger every turn for up to 5 turns. The 2nd Sealeo will use Attract to immobilize opposite genders then Dive to avoid attacks the first turn while striking the next turn. Walrein will use Sheer Cold to take out opponents in one hit but won’t work against opponents at a higher level. A move like Brick Break would work best for this battle.

In a dark underwater cove, descend to enter an Animal Barrel with Enguarde. Defeat a Bounty Bass for the “K” letter and hit a Gleamin’ Bream to light the area up for a short while. Pass by some Koco fish and you’ll find the next Gleamin’ Bream by a Lurchin. Turn left to a red Koco and you’ll find the “O” letter. Descend by Lurchins to find the next yellow fish. Where 2 Lurchins move fast, go through an opening where a red Koco moves and you’ll find a B Barrel. The first bonus area has 90 stars in a dark room. Collect them all within 30 seconds to get the B Coin. Back in the main area, hit the next yellow fish and pass by some Lurchins to find the Star Barrel. After a DK Barrel, hit the next yellow fish and descend by Lurchins in sets of 2. You’ll find the “N” letter and go by some more red Koco fish. After the next DK Barrel, descend by more Lurchins and follow the bananas on the left to find the “G” letter. Descend in the center by 2 Lurchins to find another B Barrel. The 2nd bonus area has 40 stars in a narrow path of a dark room. Collect them all within 20 seconds for a B Coin. Back in the main area, go by some more Lurchins and pass the no-animal sign for a banana bunch. In the cave, backstab Koin with the iron keg to get a DK Coin and go to the goal.

The gym of Snowpoint City has icy floors that make you skate. Battle some trainers and destroy the snowballs as you skate along. Solve the puzzle and you’ll battle the gym leader. Candice uses Ice type Pokémon. Snover will use Ingrain to restore HP with the ineligibility to switch out along with Razor Leaf for critical hits. Sneasel will use Slash for critical hits and Faint Attack for never-miss strikes. Medicham will use Bulk Up to power up along with Force Palm to paralyze targets and Ice Punch to freeze targets. When Abomasnow is sent out, its Snow Warning ability summons hail that lasts until the weather effects are replaced. Abomasnow will use Swagger to confuse opponents and put them to sleep with Grasswhistle. After the battle, you’ll receive the Icicle Badge and a TM72 (Avalanche). The user moves last when using this move, but if it takes damage on the same turn, Avalanche has double the power.

As you’re about to exit Cherrygrove City going east, an unknown boy in red hair will appear. He has stolen a Pokémon from Elm’s lab, and it’s a starter that has an advantage over yours. With one last executive to take on in the vandalized Radio Tower, you’ll take on the final executive, Archer. Houndour and Houndoom will use Ember to burn opponents while Koffing will use Selfdestruct for a big kamikaze attack. Defeat Archer and Team Rocket will disband after failing a 3-year comeback. The director will stop by and give you a Rainbow Wing.

Violet City’s gym leader, Falkner uses Flying type Pokémon. Rock types have an advantage over Flying types but be careful as the opponents counterfeit using Mud-Slap. Pidgeotto will use Gust for basic damage if you’re armed with either Bug or Grass types. After winning, you’ll receive the Zephyr Badge and a TM31 (Mud-Slap). Mud-Slap is a weak Ground type attack that lowers the target’s Accuracy stat.

On Route 23, go west by crossing a bridge after leaving the Giant Chasm and go to the upper level to find a Hidden Grotto. Enter this Hidden Grotto and you’ll have a rare chance of encountering a special Gligar. It ranges between Levels 50-55. It also has the hidden ability, Immunity. With this ability, the user cannot be poisoned.
