The music that flows through P. Emerson Williams haunts his mind un til it can be given form, such as it is, like a transmission from the abyssic depths, just as the music transmits to Erich Zann. The guitar and voice arrangement grows tendrils and tentacles, being recorded in odd locations using subterranean reverberations and energies that flow through the earth.
The Last Dream EP is a weird tale scribbled and scrabbled feverishly in the last dimming light, echoes of the last shout, the last dream. Is this collection declaimed for human ears or the watchers, to record the tale in their eternal silence? That remains to be seen. This short collection of pieces came about in the course of recording the piece Den Daude Spellemannen Spiller Fremdeles, which was written to open the set P. Emerson Williams played with Jarboe during DARK MOFO for an evening of music in Hobart, Australia that included JG Thirlwell and Chelsea Wolfe.
The tracks of Chapel Built Of Spines grew out of the process of creating visual work to illustrate the writing of some of today's most exciting authors of weird fiction. There have been hints of narrative elements in all Williams' work from the start, and working with authors, publishers and magazines in the realm of horror, science fiction and weird fiction has served to amplify this.

Part of the large scope of “Panic Pandemic” is due to the long gestation period of its genesis. I had gone through an extended period of cutting away of past creations, perceptions, persona’s and viewpoints. What the process of creating this release signaled was a new period of building up form a point of zero. The work began immediately at the conclusion of the “Psychosis Ex Machina” sessions and ran concurrently with the gestational period of writing Veil Of Thorns‘ “Manifestation Objective” and alongside the Choronzon East/West creation of “New World Chaos”. (An aside – “Manifestation Objective” – see the thoughts of regeneration reflected in the title?) It was 2003, well into the extended ritual of Rovian Black Magick. My focus was on the eternal to the point where it didn’t seem important to me if fascism completed its power grab in the US and internationally, if the human race survived its own folly or indeed if life on this planet were to continue or not. Several interviews, especially in Punk Rock oriented magazines were dropped because of this stance and some close associates kept coming at me with political concerns, Space-time limited fears etc…
This release is a book and two discs because I felt a need to answer these issues in a way that could be pointed to in future. In toto, the release is a hypersigil that effectively blocked the psionic influence of the prevailing corporate/state/consumer culture’s memetic leak into minds that were not inviting it in. (Kinda like the way a demon or vampire has to be invited in according to some theories and myth complexes.) More than that, this release is a declaration of the end of the “Panic Pandemic” just as it is named, and a foundation of creation from point zero, chaos, pain, pure potentiality.

Published as non-fiction in 1977, Michelle Remembers became an international sensation, achieving bestseller status and arguably doing more than any other publication to incite the Satanic Panic of the 1980s and 1990s, a twentieth-century witchhunt in which a great many people faced trial and even imprisonment for crimes they did not commit: in many cases, for crimes that did not even happen. The popularity of the book was such that the Vatican launched an official investigation, and Hollywood studios approached the authors about movie rights. Those authors-- Michelle Smith, the self-proclaimed former object of the cult's attention, and Lawrence Pazder, her therapist-- responded enthusiastically.
The story, in fact, prompted multiple investigations. The various findings should have calmed concerns that her claims were anything but the product of imagination. Sadly, however, many years passed before people stopped taking the book seriously; in some circles, people still regard the authors as brave mavericks in the fight against an imagined international satanic conspiracy.
Smith claims that the cult met in Ross Bay cemetery in Victoria, British Columbia. The problem is that this old graveyard faces the bay, with houses surrounding it on the remaining three sides. Much of the grounds, including the mausoleum where key events took place, are clearly visible from the neighborhood; it would make a very poor place to hold secret, illegal rituals-- particularly in the conformist, law-abiding 1950s. Other events simply could not have occurred. Smith claims a woman lifted the plaque covering one of the graves so that she could be placed within. None of these plaques work as lids, and all are too heavy for even a very strong person to lift unassisted.
She gives details of a complex car crash staged by the cult; a thorough check by reporters Debbie Nathan and Michael Snedeker failed to find any record of an accident resembling the one described within the given time-frame.
She claims the Satanists cut off the middle fingers of their left hands, and that despite this conspicuous mark, they remained unidentified in their community, and remain at large, even now.
Several of the rituals resemble distorted versions of certain traditional African rituals-- rituals which therapist Pazder had earlier studied.
The Roman Catholic Church concluded that Michelle believed in the reality of her claims, but that they most likely originated in her mind.
