What happened to Ecryptfs? And what I did about it...
It has been awhile since I've done a video this comprehensive, moving from problem description, workarounds, analysis of potential alternatives, assessing those alternatives and finally choosing one to take into the pilot stage.

This is a personal journey of the steps I took to find out what in the heck was going on with ecryptfs when I tried it using LMDE.

First off, eCryptfs, and LMDE are not at fault here as you will see, so don't yell at them....

Software today is a series of Lego builds using components written by someone else, and in this case the issue (or unresolved opportunity as I like to call them) arose with what seemed at first to be eCryptfs, and later traced back to some of the oldest issues in Linux, which oddly enough are still there

So join me on this journey of "hair raising" to finally decide how to deal with the problem.

Todays artwork is another AI generated issue of someone who looked a lot like me in my "younger" days usually surrounded by too many machines, too many cables and well basically a mess.
