Cold Call Tech Support Scammer | syskey before the confront | 844-586-2549
In this video we expose a cold call scammer claiming they were receiving errors and warnings from my computer when in reality, they were not and they have no way of doing so. This is just another typical tech support scammer.
In this video I show you an example of an Email Scammer that claimed there was a visa card that belongs to me and that I would receive a bunch of money. This is fake of course.

This scammer was a very typical tech support scammer, using many tactics we have all seen before (and more!) For this video I used ScammerRevolts’s fake pop-up program again as bait. When the scammer connected the first thing he told me was going to run a “scan” to check for problems, so what does he do? He opens CMD and runs the ‘netstat’ command. He lied and said that there were people trying to connect to my computer from South Asia, the connections that displayed were completely normal and was not ANY hacker trying to connect to my computer. He then to beef up the lie, he opened a script that he had remotely transferred to my system that said I had a ‘Microsoft Alert’ and that my computer was trying to warn me. This was one of the most pathetic things I had ever seen. It was nothing but a simple VB script that used the message box command to display the fake error. He then said that the Alureon Virus was on my system, (again with no real check to prove this.) Next, he opened task manager and said that my drivers had been “Blocked” and that If they all become stopped I won’t be able to use my computer anymore. As we know, this is false, the drivers are normally stopped and they are not “Blocked” they also, don’t all need to be running at the same time in order for the computer to function. He then tells me that my Microsoft Security Essentials has been blocked since Windows 2000, and only works on Windows 98. He also tells me that Malwarebytes can only detect the infections but can’t block them. Both of these are the biggest lies ever, Security Essentials works perfectly fine and was not blocked in Windows 2000. It wasn’t even around then -__-. Malwarebytes can block infections and does not only scan for infections. Next, he goes to Event Viewer and tells me that all the normal logs are infections and tells me he is going to block the infections. This is of course is a lie, the logs were perfectly normal and IS not an infection. After this he goes through the usual scam spiel about how he’s going to “fix” the computer by installing “Anti-Hacking” software and then wanted me to pay $299.99 which was 2 times the price of the ACTUAL one time fix plan. I then ask him what his website was, he took me to the Norton Security page and said that he worked for Symantec or Norton Security. After this I called him out on his BS, I hung up and asked if I should call back from the Norton Toll-Free Number, which of course he gave me another number which lead me to find their real website. After all this I gave them my fake info then confronted them and as I suspected, he hung up like a coward.

This company called me back and the stupid scammer wanted to "crash" my computer for wasting his time. Once he couldn't get connected he gave up, and tried to make me syskey my own computer. He isn't the brightest bulb in the pack.

In this video we call a cold call scammer that left a voicemail claiming that I needed to reactivate my Windows licence key and that If I didn't my computer would be disabled. As you will see in this video, this is nothing more than a simple scam and scare tactic to steal your money.

In this video, we call a company known as "Webbio Technologies" who for one, can't spell anything correctly and you will see this thought the video. They spell technology wrong on their website title bar. Not a surprise by any means. This company is creating fake web-based pop-ups that "hijack the browser" making it unable to use unless you close out of it, or open another window. The pop-up claimed I had spywares and viruses and that I needed to call the "engineers" in order to fix the non-existing problem. Once I called this company and they were connected to my virtual machine, he opened msconfig and msinfo32, he went on a big long thing about how the "infection" got to my computer. After this, he went to the services tab of msconfig and said the usual spiel of how the services aren't supposed to be stopped. This, of course, is a lie, they all DO NOT need to be running at the same time. These services are normally disabled. He then stated that the logs in event viewer were from unknown programs which is completely false. Those logs are completely normal logs and they are not "unknown programs." Next, he went to msinfo and lied about the system drivers. These, like msconfig, do NOT need to be all running at the same time. They are NORMALLY disabled. Furthermore, he went to CMD and said he was going to "scan" the computer. He ran the dir /s command and while it was running he typed "Detected / Malware Detected" and "Keylogger". This is fake. The dir /s command does NOT scan anything. It lists directories in the computer. He went on to tell me I had malware, and a keylogger on my computer, however, showed no proof of it. (Because he knew my computer was completely clean.) After this, he transferred me to someone else in the boiler room and he basically repeated the same scams. He tried to download junkware known as Free Diagnostics, however, it wouldn't install. You can tell it's junk when you need a password to install it. After this, he went to notepad and told me what needed to be "fixed". He also said that the action center setting caused the pop-up to appear. This is false, the action center setting makes messages come up in Action Center, not a fake web-based pop-up. Then he wanted to charge me $999.99 for issues I don't have and for fake services, I don't need. Upon confrontation, he hung up and disconnected and ran away like the coward he is. I tried calling back many times to ask for the supervisor but was hung up on multiple times.

This scammer was apart of a fake pop-up scam. I did make a mistake in video editing, They ARE NOT linked to the scam company "GeeksTechs". The first scam the scammer pulled was he claimed that the fake pop-up meant that I had an actual blue screen of death. This is false, If I actually had a blue screen the computer would be unusable. Then he ran the tree command and you could LITERALLY see him typing his fake message, "YOUR NETWORK HAS BEEN HACKED". First of all the tree command can't detect network flaws and second of all this is a fresh restored VM and there is nothing wrong, not only this YOU CAN SEE HIM TYPE THE FAKE MESSAGE. Then he went on to say that I'm not using any firewall security when really I am, It's called windows firewall and it is working perfectly fine. He also said that my computer had an "Infected Network". He then went on to lie and say that the services in msconfig are not working because of the "Infection" when really they are working fine. So after my network being "Infected" he wants me to give him my personal info thought notepad and claims that the LogMeIn Connection was a secure network blocking all the bad "infections". After all this the scammer lied about his location and once I refused to pay he got pissed and tried syskey and tried trashing the VM. He also read some articles on the site, One being IT Advocates latest article.
