UGREEN AA/AAA Battery Charger Repair and More Battery Talk
After I tore open the UGREEN AA/AAA battery charger I analyzed and tested over a year ago, I noticed that sometimes it would appear to be charging the batteries, but in the end, they were not charging at all. It turns out my tearing the charger apart caused the issue. Watch to learn more and see how I managed to "resolve" it. Oh yeah, I respond to some questions too.

It's time for some more battery testing! This video features the capacity and internal resistance testing of the Tenergy Premium Pro 2800 mAh AA purchased in November 2021.
Note: The internal impedance testing is still in beta, and there will likely be some changes in how testing is performed. When that happens, I will post a new video with the revised and/or extended testing and link it to this video. For now, please use this internal impedance testing as a reference point between the batteries.

I discovered something interesting when setting up Apple's new credit card, totally by accident. I wasn't really intending to do a video on this, but like most things I found something interesting and then grabbed the camera and chatted a bit about it. I won't go as far to called it even a teardown, but rather an explainer? So here goes! Enjoy.

In this video, I test two different thermal modifications as well as the stock setup.
I did this testing after I discovered that my M1-based MacBook Air stopped charging due to excessive battery temperature after making the modifications that I saw on a few different YouTube videos and using it under moderate to heavy CPU and GPU loading.
The video details some interesting discoveries that I made, including the fact that many of the videos out there using thermal cameras (although well-intentioned) are not properly configured, and give erroneous measurements. Watch to discover more!
The tested configurations:
1. The configuration that I found in a few different already existing YouTube videos.
2. The second is the stock configuration.
3. The configuration that I came up with that I thought would work best.

After some having some "fun" trying to get the lithium-ion battery out of the other light strips, and partially damaging one of them, I modify my aim for the project. I instead opted to use a AA battery case instead, and stripped away much of the enclosure for simplicity.

It had me surprised, too! Yes, Hyundai appears to make laptops! Watch as I discover all the strange, and not so beautiful things on this delightful, inexpensive laptop.
Note: There is occasional flickering and flashing in this video.
Caution: Do not poke or thrust a Lithium-Ion battery. Ever. Ever ever.

Here is another brand that claims very high capacity in a AA battery along with the "low-self discharge" assertion. Let's put it to the test!

I know, it's a mouthful! But, in this video I show you how to resolve latency mismatching between two Bose SoundLink Micro's running in a stereo link on macOS. This solution should work for any Bluetooth speaker running in a stereo link, paired to macOS.
I am curious if there is a similar tool or application for Windows - If you find something, let me know in comments!
A few additional notes on this solutions limitations: It will not work well for anything requiring real-time audio playback as it introduces additional delay. This includes video calling, gaming and the like.

Note: Skip about halfway down the article for instructions - This does require an Apple Developer account, which is free.

The final chapter! In this video I test out the speaker after letting the sealant cure for a few hours, and then play music through it to see if it holds up. I then perform additional audio tests. Watch to the end to see some interesting tests!
