Watch and see what it takes to change the lock set of your RE C500. Why did I do this? Well, when I bought the bike it included a few different keys for various parts of the bike. I wanted one key for all locks. The other issue was that I needed to change the filler cap anyway because the cover was broken and letting water into the barrel, ultimately leaking into the tank. Bad news.

The wah mods.
The pot has been bypassed and now controls the brightness of the LED. The LDR (Light Dependent Resistor) is connected to where the potentiometer use to be connected.
Sadly, this pot was too worn out and the centre pin was unstable and "disconnected" itself from the pot when it got bumped. Making the pedal useless.
I've kept the original footswitch. This is a cheaper mod than buying a new pot for $25-$35. Sure, it took longer to do the mod, but it's fun. You learn something, so I thought I'd share it.

4 months in the making. Special thanks to The Aussie and The Indian who organised this whole thing. The event was iffy at best with poor weather, rain for the last 4 weeks was leaving us on edge. But we said stuff it! And it was worth it!
I can't wait to do this again!!! Thanks should also go out to Grey Gum Cafe on the Putty Rd for their hospitality and generosity for not only staying open all day, but providing camping for those who stuck around. I chickened out on the camping and went home.
