Over Thanksgiving I made a simple rouge style game based on Space Station 13 and Caves of Qud. I just wanted to show case some of what I made and share the source code of it in this video.
After learning Unity for almost a full month I decided to participate in my first game jam. I choose to do the Coding Blocks 2021 Game Jam and this video shows my experiences with the jam.
I know this is a deviation from what I promised in the last video but the Warehouse game is still actively being worked on and I will give an update on it in the next devlog.

This week I focused on some DevOps style cleanup around the game. Specifically setting up Github CI to automatically handle releases of the game and I built the game for web and changed everything required for that. I also started documenting the game into a book.

I disappeared for the last month but I'm back and I have a new project to share. I'm committing to this project long term so here is hopefully the first of many devlogs. The premise of the game is that you are an architect building a for profit space station and you will have to design and manage all the different parts of running a commercial space station.
The project is built on Unity DOTS and I've had a great time working with it so far and I'm excited to see how far its lets me push this game.
