Taking a look at Edens Zero Volume 6: Words Will Give You Strength by Hiro Mashima, the creator of Fairy Tail. Now that Shiki and the Edens Zero crew have found Hermit, they now have three of the four members of the Shining Stars aboard their spaceship. Valkyrie is the only one left to find, but to do that they must first seek out Xiaomel, the Time Oracle, and participate in this manga's Tournament Arc. This is a very action packed volume with Homura and her backstory stealing the show. At this point, it is safe for me to say that she is my favorite character. Anyway, stay tuned later in the week for my review of Volume 7, as the crew continues to search for Valkyrie on the planet Sun Jewel, while going up against the sinister Madame Kurenai who appears to be in league with the big bad, Drakken Joe. Summer Game Fest 2023? More like Summer Game SnoozeFest. Please note that this video was recorded on Friday. I will upload a video later in the week discussing the Atlus and Sega jrpgs that were shown off at the Microsoft Showcase later this week. Aside from Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and the Persona 3 remake (which wasn't even supposed to be revealed until Sunday), the show was a complete waste of time. And think about that. The fact that two remakes/reimaginings are the best looking games tells you everything you need to know about the state of modern gaming. I understand that I am narrow minded in that I only play jrpgs or games adjacent to them (if you watch the whole video you will see that I praised Mortal Kombat for the fighting game fans, Sonic for the platforming fans, and Like A Dragon Gaiden because it just looks cool), but fps after fps, indie shit, Ubisoft slop.
