Many people see us as lazy non-contributory to society or just spoiled. All of this is not true. A lot of women who take career breaks have worked very hard their entire life and maybe in their late 30's- 40's decide to take a break. Why do we do this? Maybe you do not have children and feel the need for a change. It could be something that you just feel the need to do at this point in your life. There is no explanation needed. If you want a career break, you need to take one. Plan accordingly and decide what exactly you want to do and why. Maybe you take a career break to start a business, or to just get over burnout! NURSE BULLYING in the workplace. How to deal with it professionally. After watching a few other videos on this, I realize my opinion on this is not popular. With that said, I still stand by what I think. Please do not try to deal with a bully yourself, they will gang up on you and do not usually care about you that is why they are bullying you!! These days Management and HR are aware it happens and most hospitals have procedures in place to deal with this and if your hospital does not then maybe you can help them develop one. Always critically think, and I didn't mention going to HR here, but yes if you need to do it, Trust Me... Hospitals now take this stuff very serious, it is not the same as it used to be.
