Powell with industry surveys showing businesses were struggling with growing inflationary pressures. In congressional testimony, Powell vowed not to raise rates too quickly by stating that the central bank will continue its supportive stance on the economy. Still, fears loomed about surging input costs that could dent demand and affect earnings growth. US Manufacturing PMI jumped to 62.6 in June up from 62.1 in May. #Tesla #TSLA #Shorts Tesla underperformed the broader market today January 22st closed for the 14th consecutive day above its trendline and Elon Musk to offer a $100 million prize for "best" carbon capture tech. Tesla was up 0.2% to $846 on really low volume of only 19 million. I’m Adam and you’re watching Tesla: After-Hours Tesla started the day in a slump sinking to its intraday low of $828 at 10:39 AM then climbed for the rest of the day to hit its intraday high at 3:59 PM of $848. Entrepreneur Elon Musk took to Twitter to promise a $100 million prize for the development of the "best" technology to capture carbon dioxide emissions. Followed by a second tweet that promised: "Details next week." Tesla will release its fourth-quarter earnings report after the market closes 8on Wednesday, January 27th.
