The Northman is hardly the first revenge film to critique our desire for vengeance, but by capturing the genre’s grisly allure, Eggers has given us a movie for the gut and the brain." To do that, Amleth must make himself scarce for a number of years, raiding Rus’ settlements throughout Northern Europe with a band of reavers, waiting for time and fate to reveal his opportunity to strike. When that moment does arrive, Amleth voluntarily enslaves himself and gets shipped off to barren, dreaded Iceland, where Fjölnir rules over a petty little fiefdom, chased out of the land he violently overtook decades prior." ►My thoughts: I know SkyKing’s voice sounds lighthearted in the beginning of this clip, but this piece wet my eyes. This young white man was not lighthearted. He was gripped by gallows humor. He had a final laugh for the torment and torture of a life cursed by antiwhites, a life that he saw no point in living. Too many of our young white men are in the jaws of that torment.
