“Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!” The father of the possessed boy healed by Jesus expresses a kind of doubt many believers feel; a doubt in God’s presence or assistance during the ultimate trials of life. How do we acquire this belief?

Our Lord Jesus Christ tells us to “Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer”, if we are brought before persecutors. How do we “settle it in our hearts?” There is only one way. It is described by the apostle Paul and it will apply to everything that goes on in your life including the ever increasing persecution that is happening. A person may believe or not believe that there will be persecution of our bodies and our lands, or jobs, our freedom to choose where to travel and how to order our medical needs. One may have any opinion they want about this, but if you have an opinion that there is no effort by society to persecute your identity and priorities by secular “groupthink” then you will never be able to settle it in your hearts to be prepared for this persecution, which is occurring right now. We talk about what must occur for us to be settled in our hearts no matter what challenges occur in our life. The answer is: “we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; 4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope: 5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.” We explore this path, step by step, and concentrate on the most prevalent persecution in any persecuting society, “groupthink”, which is always secular thinking.
