Today we're going to talk about the book Sometimes you win, sometimes you learn by John C Maxwell.
Far too many people are way too hard on ourselves. How many times has it happened that you've made a mistake and you were hung up on it for way too long? I know I have. This one time I was giving a test and I knew all the answers to the questions on that test. But I ended up making a small calculation mistake that stopped me from scoring a 100%. I cursed myself. I thought, "I'm so stupid that I made such a silly mistake. Nobody with a sane mind would do that. I deserve to die."
Haha, that is exactly not the way successful people think. Most people say sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. But successful people say sometimes you win, sometimes you learn.
John C Maxwell says, far too many people train for success, when infact it is failure that is more common. Therefore we should be training for failure. It is like trying to learn how to walk without falling, it is impossible. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mPNF-QnpTic

How many times has it happened to you that you park your car, and then it just seems to disappear. So walk around the parking lot endlessly, and no matter how hard you try, you just can't seem to remember where you left it.
Or maybe you're in a hurry, and you need to write down someone's number, but don't have a phone on you so you try to memorize it. Only to forget it, like 5 seconds later. This is why I'll teach you how to increase memory power in hindi.
No matter what the case maybe, memory is a very important aspect of our intelligence. And ofcourse, just being able to memorize things aimlessly isn't everything you need in life, but it can certainly make things a whole lot easier. This video will teach you how to increase your memory power.
I've personally used the techniques I'm going to share with you to memorize all the digits of pie upto a hundred digits. I've also been able to memorize 50 elements of the periodic table in just 15 minutes, and I regularly use these techniques to memorize long lists and facts in tests in university as this will increase memory power. Plus, it's always a cool conversation starter when I tell people that I can memorize any 50 objects they tell me, forwards and backwards, from the middle, and I can do that in under two minutes without making a mistake.
And trust me, I'm not exceptionally intelligent or anything, it's just that these techniques are that powerful. So listen up, because these are the same techniques that are used by memory champions around the world. Let's learn how to increase memory power.
This technique is called the method of loci, and it is the basis for all extra ordinary feats of memory performed by ordinary people. You might have seen this technique being referenced in the TV show sherlock. The basis of this theory is, that we as humans can remember spacial details much more than anything else. You may not remember the names of your neighbours, but you will never forget what your childhood home looks like. Or even the fact that you cannot exactly remember when you met a stranger, but you can accurately remember where you met them. For most of us, spacial memory is the strongest and that is what we will use in this technique.
So in the method of loci, you basically create a memory palace. This can be any physical location that you know the ins and outs of, so it would be best if you chose something like your high school or the house in which you grew up. Once you have this place in mind, now you need to decide a path. So for example, you start at the doorway then you go to the living room, then the kitchen, then upstairs, then some other room, etc and then you end on the garage. This is really important as this will be the path that you'll be using

Pillar one: Live consciously
To me, this is the most fundamental pillar of self esteem, and this is the one that has made the most difference in my life.
In our society, most people are awake, but they aren't truly conscious. We go through the motions everyday. Wake up, go to work, come back, have the same argument, watch TV, go to sleep. Even if your daily routine looks more productive than this, chances are you're probably still going through most of your life on autopilot.
2. Pillar no two: Self acceptance
While self esteem is a general feeling that you have the entire day, self acceptance is a conscious practice.
Self acceptance is one of the most important aspects of having a healthy level of self esteem, and more broadly it is a prerequsite for self improvement. If you're trying to go from one city to another, but you don't know which city you're in, then any map in the world is going to be completely useless to you.
Pillar three: Self responsibility
Own everything that goes wrong in your life. Now I'm not saying that everything bad that happens is actually your fault, the only reason you should own up to everything is because that is simply the most resourceful state of mind to be in. If you get bad grades in a test and you just blame it on your professor for not instructing you properly, you've just given up all self responsibility, and by doing that you've lost your ability to change the outcome.
Now you just may have an incompetent professor, but if you just accept personal responsibility for getting bad grades, then you are more likely to study harder and get better grades the next time. Self responsibility ins't blaming yourself, it's putting yourself in a position to succeed.
Pillar four: Self Assertiveness
Now self assertiveness isn't becoming arrogant and bullying everyone into accepting your opinion. Ofcourse you're going to have to do this tactfully, but all this means is that you don't simply take everyone else's word for something, and you recognize that you're a perfectly capable human being who's needs and want have to be honoured.
Pillar five: Live purposefully
Now I can personally guarantee that if you get this right, this pillar will have the most impact on your life, even more than the first one. I'll give you an example.
Ever since I started this youtube channel, my life has a purpose, and that is to share ideas to help you improve your life. And even though this channel isn't huge and my ideas don't reach everyone, I still feel like I'm doing my part to fulfill my life's purpose. And trust me, when you feel like your self esteem will skyrocket.
Pillar Six: Personal integrity
This is the pillar that a lot of us are likely to gloss over because we may not see the i

Arnold Schwarzenegger's success story in hindi:
1. Extreme hard work
There is no denying that he worked hard. If you read his bodybuilding routine, just reading it alone will get you tired.
2. He didn't care what other's thought
He didn't care that other's thought he couldn't become an actor, all he cared about what his dream.
3. Visualization
It has been scientifically shown that visualization helps in goal achieving. Arnold says that before every competition he could clearly see in his minds eyes that he was going to win.
4. He wasn't desperate
Because he had already become a millionaire before becoming an actor, he wasn't deperately looking for a job. So he could focus more on improving his skills
5. Obsessed
He was obsessed about his goals. He thought about them constantly, and only stopped when he achieved them.

There are 3 things that you need to keep in order to make sure that you will be successful in your meditation practice. Before I tell you that, let's quickly define what meditation is. Meditation very simply, is keeping your mind still. In this video I will show you how to meditate in hindi.
1. Environment is very important if you want to learn how to meditate in hindi. Find a comfortable spot to sit in. Now it doesn't matter if you're sitting in a chair, or on the floor in the lotus position. All that matters is that your spine is straight. Now this is very important. If you don't keep your spine straight or you lie down then you are going to fall asleep, which is not what we want. Make sure that there are no distractions and that nobody will disturb you. Set a timer on your phone for 10-20 minutes. If you're new to meditation, it's best to not go higher than 20 minutes right from the start.
2. Technique is the main thing if you want to know how to meditate in hindi. There are a lot of gurus who will tell you all sorts of techniques on the internet, but the most simple one is this. Close your eyes, and just focus on your breathe. Breathe in, and breathe out. Concentrate on how it feels to take in that breathe, how your lungs expand, how the tension leaves your body, and how the air flows out. What you will notice is that as you start doing this, your mind will get distracted very easily.
Basically, you need to do everything is your power to make sure that you make meditation a habit, which brings me to the last point. That's how to meditate in hindi.
3. Consistency is very important for how to meditate in hindi. It doesn't matter if you go to the gym once a week, and similarly meditating once every few days will not help. You have to do it consistently. And it's hard to start a new habit, which is why I recommend setting a small time like 10 minutes on your timer as a beginner. Meditate every single day to reap the actual benefits. Now here's why most people give up.
You start meditating, you do it for two weeks, and you don't really see much improvement. So you quit. That's not how meditation is supposed to work. As powerful as meditation is, it's not a quick fix. It will take a long time for the benefits to kick in, and it will be very subtle. But trust me when I say this, once you make it a habit and stick to it, you're going to be a completely new person. These are the benefits of how to meditate in hindi.
