Dean Swain is back, this time looking at the NES version of Target: Renegade which first appeared on the 8bit micro's. This version is very different and feels like a cheap Double Dragon wannabe.

In 1985 Mastertronic and KP Crisps got together and released a branded game in the form of Action Biker starring Clumsy Colin. It was ported to the Atari 8 bits, ZX Spectrum and C64 computers and is a favourite title of Steve Ericson, co-host of the Retro Asylum podcast.
This depth of Action Biker is somewhat puddle like and requires the player to drive around scrolling environment while collecting items that randomly appear across the map. Once you have collected everything the player must guide Clumsy Colin through a series of obstacles. It's an odd little game that had show how Chris O'Regan slowly lose the will to live as he played through it.
