In this video I introduce the very first custom project on the channel. This is, of course, unlike anything we've ever done on here, and I'm very excited to share it with you guys! I developed this idea about 8 years ago, and now that I have the time and money to do it, I can finally turn the idea into a reality, and at the same time, create my very own 1 of 1 dream boat.
//The project will start off as a 14 foot aluminum boat, the bow of the boat will be closed, much like a runabout style boat. The rear engine compartment will also be mostly enclosed with sound dampening material to reduce as much unwanted engine noise as possible, since the engine is likely to be air cooled, there will be a vent to pull in cold air from the outside. The engine compartment will also have a high velocity exhaust fan for extracting fuel vapor to prevent an explosion, this is a very important safety measure. The goal is to seat four people on two bench seats, the front seat will be covered by a full windshield, and there were also be proper lighting for night time boating. in terms of drivetrain, the goal is to use a Briggs and Stratton V-twin, a secondary choice is the famous predator 670 V-twin engine . the engine will be modified (if necessary) to reach approximately 45 to 50 horsepower, and it will be coupled to a surface drive system for propulsion. Additional electronics include an automatic bilge pump, auxiliary water pump for a wet exhaust system, a "captains choice exhaust" may also be installed which allows the user to have either a quiet, peaceful exhaust, or a loud race-like exhaust. The boat will have a full dashboard, which will include oil pressure, fuel level, battery level, RPM, and speed. The goal Max speed of this boat is 35 to 45 miles an hour.//

In this episode of the homemade speedboat series, we get the trailer all fixed up by replacing the lights, wheel hubs, and safety chain. In order to have fun on the lake with the boat, you must have a trailer that can safely get it there, so it only seemed logical that we start there. Once we complete all the important basics on the trailer, we can finally start work on the boat and get to the content that I know you guys are waiting for.
I'm still not sure if I will keep that aluminum framing at the front, I'm leaning towards keeping it because I don't feel like fixing all of the rivet holes. Either way, many hours of work went into this video, so I'd appreciate it if you guys could hit the like button, and subscribe if you haven't already. Thanks for watching.

In today's video I wake up my 1993 craftsman lawnmower. It's been sitting for quite some time, so I think I should get it going again. It's a very nice, clean example of an early 90s mower apart from a few issues.

A real problem with the MB200 minibike is the terrible rear suspension, riders over 150lbs will have a rough ride on bumpy trails. Given that's about 90% of trails in my area, it was getting pretty old to say the least. I finally got around to installing some better springs to help soften up the ride, and boy did it make a difference.
After installing the Mikuni VM22, this thing makes around 13-15 hp, therefore it absolutely SHREDS 30 series belts, I think a 40 series swap is coming up.
