Just arrived in Toronto for a 3-day weekend. Checked into the Double Tree Hotel at 110 Chestnut Street. I think this hotel, or at least my room, is soundproof. A guest asked me if I heard the loud thunder Friday night. I told him no but I saw in the news in the morning that there were lots of thunder, very loud. The windows in the room were definitely airtight. And it's not even located near an airport but near city hall where politicians talk a lot of hot air.
